Beautiful, cozy and clean mid-size apartment directly on the Naschmarkt for a great breakfast and much more! Would stay again and can recommend without hesitation. Irene is also very responsive and helpful when you need anything. Great apartment, great host.
We were 3 days on Irene's apartment and it was a great experience that I would recommend to everyone who is visiting Vienna, and is looking for a centric, confortable and very well equiped apartment. We felt like at home, and the apartment is really near the city center. In the same street you can find the Naschmarkt, which we visited several times to eat and drink something.
Irene had everything perfectly prepared before our arrival, and the email contact the previous days was fluent. We didn't need to call her during the stay, but she was also reachable by phone.
Great location and cozy apartment! Irene was very flexible and helpful.
I had a wonderful 16 day stay in Irene's apartment. It is in a fantastic location. It has everything you could possibly need. Checking in and out was made incredibly easy. If I ever needed anything she was very prompt to answer my emails. Walking distance to everything and just a step from the subway and trams. Extremely cool to have the Naschmarkt right out front. I loved it.
Great apartment, great location! On the Naschmarkt, subway nearby.
Lovely apratment with such a central ideal location. Irene is very organized and you feel vibrant energy in her apartment. Lovely host.
If you want to see Vienna, this is a GREAT place to stay. It is PERFECTLY located for going where ever you want to go. There was a city tram stop right outside by the front door. The Karl's Platz Underground terminal was a five minute walk. Four separate Underground Lines (the 1, 2 and 4 lines) converge at the Karl's Platz station. Using the underground, Stephan's Platz, the location of St. Stephan's Cathederal aka, the Heart of Vienna, is one stop away. The Museum District is one stop away. The CAT (city airport train) is 2 stops away from the Karl's Platz stop and the Westbanhof train station (to catch a train to Innsbruck for example) is 4 short stops away. But there are also many sites within short walking distance. On our last night, we attended a Mozart concert at the MUSIKVEREIN, a huge, historic and beautiful multi-venue concert hall just a 10 minute walk. The Vienna Opera House was about 12 minutes away by foot where many "Sightseeing Vienna" tours including the Hop On, Hop Off tour and the Danube River tour are located. There is a small grocery store about two minutes away and several very moderately priced restaurants all located on the same city block.
Irene's apartment was very, very comfortable with a separate bedroom, living room and kitchen. Big windows face north so there is no problem with late afternoon sun causing too much heat in the summer. Irene provides a washing machine for small loads of laundry. Her kitchen has a refrigerator and gas stove. There is a kitchen table and a living room table. She has also provided a fast WI-FI connection which we used constantly with our computer and our iPhones for accessing all the website we are used to. Each evening, we were able to use the WI-FI to access theater, museum and/or tourbus information, make reservations, find restaurants.
The ONLY thing we found lacking??? An American style coffee pot!!! Yes, we are spoiled Americans and we would have loved to have perked or dripped our American black coffee each morning!!! (But still, we survived because we learned to boil coffee in a pot when our son was in the Boy Scouts. So, even that wasn't really a problem.)
Everything else was comfortable for us. The bed and living room were comfortable and the bath was comfortable--plenty of hot water. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay.
We felt so at home at Irene's apartment from the first moment we were there. Centrally located, sunny, and cozy, it felt like the kind of apartment I wish I could live in all the time. It is decorated with lots of old furniture and interesting objects that seem to come half from Irene's travels around the world, half from the flea market that takes place on Saturdays right outside the door. Did I mention it is also an incredibly good deal? Irene and her mother (who met up with us to give us the key) were both gracious and friendly. I would definitely stay there again!
A great location for a stay in Vienna. Right outside the door is the Nashmarket where the food is cheap, fresh and has great ambience. A short walk to the Museum Quarter and Hofburg or buses at the door, train a short 5min walk. Loved it and would definately stay there again.
The best place to stay in Vienna. The apartment is very comfortable and you can feel like you are at home. It is arranged with love and style. Irene is very polite and warm person and it was a big pleasure to contact her. The next time when I will visit Vienna she will be the first to ask for accommodation.
Ibi, her mother and their friend were fantastic and very reliable quests.
I really would like to welcome them again for a longer periode.
Thank you for coming and hope to see you soon!
Irene og hendes mor var rigtig søde, ordentlige og rare gæster. Det var hyggeligt at møde dem og de er velkomne tilbage en anden gang, hvis de skal "hjem til Danmark".
Irene is such a nice and uncomplicated person and she is definitely welcome to stay at my place again. The place was in a great and clean condition after she left. Thanks!
Irene was great and she left the apartment in perfect order.
Irene and her mom stayed at our place in Amsterdam for a few days. They are beautiful, friendly, charming and independent women who we would recommend to anyone!
Irene was a lovely guest, respectful, warm and wonderfully friendly. Leaving the house in great condition - responding well, flexible - id recommend her anytime!
I would highly recommend Irene if you're looking for a good guest.
