Love meeting new travelers from around the globe.
My husband and I have hosted many exchange students.
We stayed in this beautiful suite for our 1 year anniversary. Access was simple (it is a little suite off of the garage) and the place itself so cute - the pictures don't do it justice. The closet and bathroom (and vanity table) are gorgeous, high ceilings. The hosts left a nice note for us with wine and chocolates when we arrived. The hot tub was ready to go and the backyard was beautiful - with a fire pit, patio tables, croquet and horse shoes if you want to play. It was so peaceful and mid-day little birds came to play in the fountain. Only downside for me was the softness of the bed, but my husband is a big fan of soft mattresses so he was pleased.
Quick note: there is not anything within walking distance of the house, but if you drive a few minutes you will come upon a grocery store and a little coffee stand which makes smoothies.
I stayed with Jim and Cheryl before my triathlon. The place was great and the hot tub and the surrounding yard and area was amazing. I will definitely stay here in the future when I'm in the area!!
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful and relaxing stay. We were pleasantly surprised at how much bigger the space was than the photos show. You can tell Cheryl enjoys hosting people by how she adds her special touch. She had champagne, champagne flutes and delicious chocolate for us to celebrate our 1 year anniversary! A personalized experience way better than any hotel!
Thanks Cheryl for making it extra special.
Cheryl and Jim were incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming. They gave us great recommendations where to eat (oh, that restaurant "La Bodega" was sooo delicious) and where to stop on our way up to Portland (Ashland was fantastic by the way).
The suite was perfect as well. It's much bigger actually than it looks on the pictures and it's very comfortable and clean. Cheryl also provides those little shampoos, soap and even sunscreen in the bathroom and robes you can use when going to the hot tub in the garden.
We really loved our stay at this wonderful place in Sebastapol and would definitely recommend it to other people as well.
Thank you so much Cheryl and Jim.
Cheryl and Jim were warm and very welcoming. The room was more beautiful than we expected and perfect for our needs. Privacy well respected, and their hot tub was fantastic and helped our aching muscles from days of dancing. I couldn't recommend them enough, and we hope to be back next year!
Cheryl is amazing!
My girlfriend and I stayed here for Valentines Day. Upon arrival we were greeted by personal note and delicious box of chocolates from the local chocolatier (http://(email hidden)/) - sure beats any pillow mint out there!
We were blown away by the craftsmanship & tech of the room: hardwood floors, tile, sitting space for makeup, walk-in closet, flatscreen TV, remote control AC/heater, electronic window covering (for full Vegas blackout), fridge, microwave and coffee/tea, let's not forget the french press!
After an afternoon of hiking (Armstrong Redwoods) and wine tasting (Iron Horse Vineyard), we returned to our suite to find another note from Cheryl - suggesting we use of the robes for a trip to the hot tub and her favorite local restaurant ((website hidden)).
This trip was the essence of Airbnb - traveling like a local. We can't thank Cheryl enough and look forward visiting Sebastopol again.
