I'm an architect (my website : (website hidden)), I travel a lot, besides I have a house in Goa, India (on airbnb: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/31093)
Our stay at Pauline's place was very pleasant. The apartment was a little bit on the smaller side but very clean, modern and well-equipped. It is perfect for a couple. You find a big fridge and all the necessities to cook at home. So it is easy to spend even a longer period of time at Pauline's place. Pauline is a very friendly and welcoming person. The location of the appartment is not in the very centre of Paris but it's a good starting point to discover the city.
Staying at Pauline's was very nice. She was not in Paris during my stay, but managed all the logistics perfectly and was always available for my inquiries - welcome note, directions to the apartment, access key, wifi... everything went as planed.
The apartment it self is great, very comfortable for young couples traveling lite or solo travelers like my self. The subway is nearby and there are velib just around the corner as well as supermarkets and other commodities.
I had a great stay at Pauline's place. She was great about pointing out the bakeries and supermarkets close by and ensuring that I knew my way around the neighbourhood. She was kind enough to check in with me during my visit to ensure everything was going well. Thank you!
Pauline has a really nice flat, very cosy and confortable for a couple. It has everything you need.
It's also easy to go to the centre by bus or metro.
Well situated for access to Metro and Buses. It only takes 5 mins to walk there and then its 10 mins ride to the center. Just 10 mins walk to that cemetery with a the dead famous peeps (its great fun). The place was clean and compact (but most places are in PARIS), comfy bed, well organized for such a small space, awesome shower. Pauline has some fab books to flip through. The 6th floor can be a little bit daunting with heavy cases or after a long day, but It has everything you need for a sort stay and if you love art Pauline has her finger on the pulse for the latest shows etc. Thanks for having us.
Amazing place, really. Can't think of anywhere else I'd rather stay the next time I'm in Paris.
The host canceled my reservation.
The flat is a wonderfully creative use of a small space. Pauline is an architect and clearly has skills! She is very, very nice and was wonderful to work with! The flat is on the sixth floor in a building that does not have an elevator. And in France, the sixth floor means six flights of stairs (the ground floor is designated '0', not '1'). Two of us stayed there for three days and four nights and the flat was very functional. However, I don't know that it would work well for a longer stay, due to size constraints, etc.
Pauline & Svend were great guests! Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet them, I'm sure it would have been fun. They took the best care of my place and were very friendly and communicative. They are welcome again.
