As an airline pilot for 25 years flying mostly Boeing 767, I've traveled extensively for work and pleasure. "1000 Places To See Before You Die" is on my nightstand. I've climbed Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, hiked Machu Picchu in Peru, retraced Darwin’s steps in the Galapagos islands, faced the Terra Cotta in Xi An, biked across India to Agra, visited Angkor Wat and Killing Fields in Cambodia, skied the Alps, climbed the Pyramids in Egypt, cruised the Greek islands, gotten dirty in the Cuchi tunnels of Vietnam, surfed the waves of South Africa, danced tango in Buenos Aires, admired Lucy in Ethiopia, sat next to the gorillas of Rwanda, mingled with orangutans and komodo dragons in Indonesia... and a few more fun places.
Yoga, swimming and biking are part of my daily routine. I practice tango, often attend jazz concerts and see very few mainstream blockbuster movies... more into indie art house productions. I'm a vegetarian, speak French and English and follow Darwin's philosophy: “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.”
