we are from england and are in our first year of running a bed and breakfast;
Vikki is an absolutely wonderful host and has a wonderful home. The location of the home was a little tricky but we called Vikki and she drove down to the Lauriere town square and guided us to the home.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Tiana, her adorable daughter. Her friend Jenny was staying at the house too. All of us had dinner together (beef bourguignon was DELICIOUS btw) downstairs in the kitchen area, and it was just a wonderful evening amongst friends.
Room was very clean, tidy, and ready for us. Decor was lovely and welcoming. There was a bottle of wine for us and some glasses in the room, a beautiful touch along with some choices of tea. The whole home was very welcoming. We loved our stay at Vikki's simply because it was like staying at a friend's home.
Breakfast the next day was delicious as well. Coffee was yummy and so were the pastries. :)
I'm a bit sad we only stayed one night. Next time, we're definitely staying longer. :) We miss you all!
Wayne and Tiana we would like to thank you for sharing a couple of days in your B&B. We had a great time, you were very attentive, hospitable and informative. Staying with your B&B was pleasant, your rooms are greatly decorated. If we are back in that area we will definitely book again with you! We felt home away from home, this is why we would go back. Thank you
We had a fantastic time at Chez Martin. Wayne was a great host. He told us what places to go and see and we enjoyed his recommendations. We had our own lounge room but were happy to sit around the huge kitchen table and chat with Wayne. The room was spacious and I sat one afternoon at the table in our room doing my holiday diary and looking out the window. Wayne cooked croissants and fresh bread for our breakfast. He just wanted us to have a good holiday.
