Had a wonderful stay! Patti was very accommodating and very helpful, with maps and suggestions. The apartment was very cozy but bright and in a great location.
The reservation was canceled 48 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Right from the momnet that I booked this apartment Patti was attentive, communicative, accomodating and helpful. She offered me incredibly useful information about travel options, Cambridge and Boston siteseeing and neighboorhood information. It should come as no surprise then that when I arrived she had fresh homemade Iced tea waiting for me. The apartment was eclectic, interesting, cozy and in a fantastic location but the real star of this rental is Patti herself. Without hesitation, I reccomend this apartment to anyone traveling in the Boston area.
I spent 3 nights at Patti's place while I was apartment hunting before my relocation. The location is great and Patti is a great host. Even before my arrival she gave my advises for my apartment hunting, suggesting useful website and Realtiers. I definitely recommend this place!
The apartment, full of charm and character, is in a great location - close to public transportation, food, and Harvard. Patti is a very hospitable host - she met me upon arrival and departure, and even helped me orient myself in the area. The airconditioning made my stay even more comfortable.
Great experience!! Pat did a great job preparing for my stay, guiding me into Cambridge with directions, and leaving a list of things to do, see and experience during my stay. The apartment was in the perfect location. It was a short walk to the Metro station and offered all that I needed. Cute and artistic design and I couldn't have been happier in the space. I would like to stay here again on my next trip to the area!
Absolutely cannot beat the location. Great building, lots of light. Patti a wonderful host. The only reason I can't give the place five stars is that Patti's funky and unique style is a little cluttered for my taste. I think that's my weakness, not the place's. I'm all about clear surfaces. Patti's very dear and charming place is filled with funky bits and pieces.
Could not be a better location -- quick walk from the T station, or back to Harvard Square shops / restaurants, in between Harvard Yard and the graduate schools, and right across the street from Harvard Law.
It's like staying in a private apartment in the Upper West Side of New York; filled with antiques and books, looks out to trees and a courtyard, has everything you need. And, it was very quiet. I was there for Harvard Graduation, and even given the activity I didn't hear anything at night.
A cute, quiet apartment just blocks from Harvard Square - so convenient and easy! Patti just left the key for me so I never even met her, but she was in constant touch and made sure everything went smoothly. Perfect for a single woman traveler - safe and comfy.
Patti was a wonderful host - she was kind, gracious, and the apartment was perfect for me. Bed was comfortable, coffee and cream were available, temperature was good, and arrival and departure were easy. It was the perfect distance from Harvard Square and Harvard Divinity School, the two places I spent most of my time. I highly recommend this as an affordable, flexible, easy and enjoyable option for visiting Cambridge. I might note that it is not an ideal home for small children, as it is carefully decorated and there are enough breakable things that it is best for those over eight years old. I also might note that it is an older Cambridge apartment - well cared for and decorated - but not recently remodeled. I think, however, that the character and charm outweigh any drawbacks from staying in a sterile hotel. Oh and there are good cooking facilities too. I did not use, but very nice when you are trying to save money not eating out in the square for every meal. Overall highly recommended!
