Nice clean well equipped house in a beautiful location. A very enjoyable stay, thank you Sandra.
thanks Sandra ! 喜欢宁静乡村的朋友，推荐！
we felt like in our home, the house is fantastic in a very nice neighborhood, sandra and marcus are very kindly and we pretend be back asap.
I rented Sandra's flat for my parents and all went perfect. The flat is beautiful and perfectly located in residential area with lots of bars, shops, restaurants and public transport options. Communication with Sandra was excellent. Sandra is a great host that helps with everything and put attention in every single detail. I would definitely choose Sandra again in the future
We had a lovely comfortable stay a real home from home. It's a beautiful property gr8 location for tube and shops. Clean and we'll equipped for our Christmas break. Thanks for having us Sandra.
Dover House is a gorgeous property in the heart of the Cotswolds. Sandra has refurbished it to a wonderfully high standard - from the utility room in the basement right up to the very upstairs bathroom, everything has been done to perfection. Gloriously decorated in muted Farrow & Ball paint shades, we spent a wonderful New Year in this idyllic location. Dover House accommodates 7 comfortably (albeit with two on a very plush sofa bed). The kitchen has a great range cooker, and is well stocked with cutlery, crockery and utensils to cook up a storm. The three bathrooms are tastefully appointed, with plentiful hot water. The central heating keeps the place toasty warm, even in the depths of winter. The utility room is also well equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Staying at Dover House felt like borrowing a good family friend's property - right down to the wonderful collection of cutlery and crockery, fluffy towels and crisp bed linens.
Parking can be a bit challenging - there is space for one large car on the property, and beyond that you need to find a space somewhere in the village - but following Sandra's helpful advice we easily located a space up by the church for our three day stay.
Within Painswick, you are a couple of minutes from a well stocked village shop, and we can highly recommend eating at the Falcon - a smart country pub/restaurant. There are plenty of country walks nearby - we blew out the cobwebs on New Year's Day on a 5 mile walk up to Painswick Beacon for stunning views. The Royal Oak has a more traditional pub experience just up the road from the property.
Sandra was a fantastic, responsive host. Emails got quick turnarounds, and all questions got due attention. Sandra was hugely flexible on our check in and check out times, and kept in touch during the stay.
We would be delighted to return to Dover House in the future, and to recommend it and Sandra's hospitality to prospective visitors.
From the start of the booking process, our experience was extremely positive dealing with Sandra. We were not let down when we arrived to stay - our family had the most wonderful time in Dover House over Christmas. The accommodation was more than we anticipated, with stunning views over the countryside and plenty of space for our family of four plus three additional guests staying. We had enough space to sit, eat and sleep comfortably and more than enough space for cooking and preparing for the Christmas and Boxing Day feasts (where we hosted 14 for buffet lunch). Sandra had thought of almost everything to make her guests' stay at Dover House so comfortable (scales and a baster for the goose were acquired at a local s'market!) and the rooms were gloriously decorated with exquisite furniture. We couldn't have hoped for more from our holiday in Gloucestershire. Painswick is the most stunning and hospitable of villages and it has been wonderful returning to the place I grew up but made all the more so by having the opportunity of being hosted by Sandra at Dover House. Thank you for the outstanding experience. We do hope we can visit again.

We had a lovely stay at 19 Barrowgate Road. The pre arrival information provided by Sandra was excellent. The house book was very informative and also included some restaurant recommendations. The accommodation was first class ,well appointed with fully equipped kitchen.
Generous light and the area was quite. A seven minute walk to Chiswick High Road.
We based ourselves in Chiswick to be close to family however the location afforded good access to the city .
I didn't get to meet Sandra personally, but she made sure that everything was taken care of. Her place was just like a home away from home for my family. The place was well equipped and clean. The interior was as advertised, and was kind enough to provide basic essentials such as milk, butter, eggs and bread. A definite plus was the fact that she had a fan, which is absolutely rare in the UK, but was perfect to combat the summer heat. She was accommodating, and allowed us to leave our baggage behind after checking out, and pick it up later for an evening flight. My family and I enjoyed our stay, thank you!
