I'm a freelance voice over and a writer with an online girl gaming zine called Charisma + 2. I often travel to different locations to attend conventions or network with various companies.

Five things I can't live without:
Animal companions like my cats
Friends and Family
Positive people
Dreams and aspirations

Favorite travel spots: New Zealand, Australia, Vancouver, the Yucatan in Mexico
Dream Vacations: Anywhere I haven't been, but Africa most of all

Favorite Books: Though it may sound corny I have a love for classics like Beowulf, The Odyssey, Brave New World, The Hobbit, and now and then I appreciate contemporary authors like George R.R. Martin.

Favorite movies: Babel, E.T., Jurassic Park, Aliens,

Favorite Food: Cajun, Italian, Mexican, actually I LOVE trying new foods but I don't like red meat or pork.

Favorite Music: Lately it's all about the song, if I like it then I don't care what style or genre it is. A new favorite is Blinding by Florence and the Machine.

On the subject of hosts: As a guest I mostly prefer hosts who are female. Although I might make some acceptations now and then. No offense guys, it's just that as a single woman traveling alone I'd feel more secure in their company.

As a guest: I don't have interest in bringing home friends, primarily because I often don't know anyone when I'm in town. I'm business focused a lot of the time and usually need a place to sleep after hours of walking around conventions, or attending a few parties (which I usually don't stay at past 10:30pm). I DO NOT drink, ever. My stomach cannot tolerate alcohol other than a few sips of wine which I only have in the presence of family, most of who all live in Texas. I have sleep apnea, so for stays that are longer than two days I have a CPAP machine. It's very light weight, barely makes any noise and I need a plug near the bed so I can use it. I also use ear plugs in case the area I'm staying at has lots of noise and activity.

Thanks everyone for stopping by!
