I have worked for a social service agency in Downtown Vancouver for the past ten years. My husband and I have two young children who are already great travellers. We bring our travel backpacks when we visit Europe to keep our hands free to walk hand in hand with our children and utilize transit wherever we can. Our youngest's first trip was to Drumheller, Alberta at ten weeks old to visit the dinosaur museum (more for his big brother) and his first overseas trip was to Ireland, England and Wales at ten months old to visit my husband's family. Before he could walk, he crawled on the beach in Connemara and up the steps at the Cliffs of Moher and at Limerick Castle. He took did his first solo walk at the airport in Boston on a summer trip to visit Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard and Cape Cod.
