i'm just a girl with some quirk. i appreciate all forms of expression. i enjoy travelling, laughing, meeting new people, learning, rollerskating. what inspires me: photography, poetry, art, postcards, christmas lights, the shape of trees, architecture (old buildings), history, alternative music. i'm not afraid to be myself. i'm pretty smart but i don't flaunt it. i've been told i'm weird and i embrace it.

i can't live without: water, laughter (like when i watch an episode of "new girl"), traveling, uniqueness, delight.

i love iceland. i traveled there on my own last year. this little island is mysterious & magical. there is an inexplicable energy. and when i listen to sin fang bous or sigur ros, i get it. i finally get it.

i prefer to use lonely planet and dk eyewitness travel guides. but i also take any tips from anybody who freely gives them. and the internet is great for researching my next travel destination because one website will spark a link to another website and so on. i prefer to stay in yha/hi hostels--what better way to meet new people??

as a guest i am respectful of your space. if you have "rules" i will follow them. if you are not a rule follower, i can dig it. i would love to hang out with you some of the time. if you have lots of free time and care to show me YOUR favorite hangouts and/or be a personal tour guide, great! if you have prior engagements (like work) and have little or no free time, that's cool, too. i respect your time and space. as a host, i pretty much expect the same.

my life motto is: sanity must co-exist with insanity.
