I was born and raised in England, emigrating to the US alone at the age of 18. My husband, Gordon was a Merchant Marine, sailing the globe for 28 years, so between us we've done a fair bit of traveling and adventuring! Gordon retired in 2009 and since then I've had the luxery of working part-time as a registered nurse. We are frequently on the road ourselves visiting grandchildren in California, Maine, Florida and Arkansas. When not on the road, we enjoy our 4-unit apartment building surrounded by the beautiful gardens we have created. Chestnut Hill is a rather unique community, where we can walk to buy anything we need. . . . farmer's markets, Staples, post office, library, many restaurants, train to downtown etc. are all within a short walk. It's the kind of place where you know your neighbors, and there's a sense of history and optimism. Please come and visit!
