I loved my stay at Ena's place, conveniently located between UCLA and Santa Monica beach and shopping. Ena and Pau are really great and friendly. They were always there to advise me or help me.
The room is clean, cozy and very big. The private bathroom is a plus as well as the desk. Hosts were very quiet and I could work in the calm in the evening. Moreover, kitchen was very functional and I could use their ustensil to cook. That's very friendly.
The location is very perfect everything you need is just around the corner : CVS Pharmacy, Supermarkets, Ross.... And if you are looking for organic food (market and restaurants) you will find plenty of them in Wilshire Boulevard.
Thanks again both of you for this wonderful L.A experience. I'll definitely be back.
If you're visiting L.A., the location of Ena's place is amazing. I had a job interview at UCLA and wanted to see the rest of the city. It was a perfect home base for doing that. It is close to UCLA, Santa Monica, Hollywood, and is just a short drive up the freeway from the airport. The room itself is big and clean, and it was great to have access to my own bathroom. Ena and Paulo are great hosts! I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
Ena and Paul were really friendly. We had a wonderful stay and Ena was very flexible about my arrival time. I also had a great chat with Paul. Will definitely come back if I'm visiting LA!
I had a wonderful stay with Ena! Although I was only there for one night (and Ena and I never actually met!), Ena's home was lovely. She provided a parking spot right next to her apartment and also provided needed items like an iron and hair dryer. She was quick to respond to questions I had. Her place is conveniently located about 10 min from UCLA's campus. Highly recommended, I would definitely stay with Ena again!
After being stuck in traffic for about 8 hours and getting back to L.A. where I didn't have a place to stay, the quick and easy booking with Ena was a God-send. Very nice and clean apartment. Great location. Street parking was fairly easy. Thanks Ena!
Ena was a thoughtful and flexible host, from creating a parking space for me, accommodating a very late arrival to providing a hair dryer at my request. I stayed just one night, but the room was clean, comfy, cutely decorated and quiet. It's convenient to UCLA and the 405.
Ena's place is gorgeous! The photos dont do it justice. The apartment is adorable, charming, and cozy. Its very well decorated and comfortable. The location is absolutely amazing, central to all parts of LA. She was very thoughtful, and made access to the apartment very easy. There was a welcoming note giving me all the details I needed about wifi, and she provided everything I needed from toiletries to towels to fans to water bottles. The room was gorgeous, literally a home away from home. Ena and Pau are an adorable couple, they're very sweet and friendly. I loved seeing them around. It was a great stay, I'd love to visit them again! Thanks E&P!
Great host! Very accommodating. Would stay here again.
Great place to stay, a classmate and I travel in every month for the part time MBA program at UCLA and the accommodations worked out perfectly. Very close to campus with lots of food options within walking distance, plus super clean and reasonably priced for the area. Will definitely be back.
Clean, Comfortable, Convenient, and yes, Chic!
I stayed at Ena's private room for 6 weeks while attending a class at UCLA. From the first airbnb message, Ena was extremely responsive and very accommodating of my questions and requests. Ena and Paulo were excellent hosts, making the place and the stay extremely welcoming and stress-free.
The room is quite spacious and decorated with taste. I appreciated the little touches of decor with the "shabby chic" and travel theme! The included private bathroom is basic (with a sink and shower) but was more than adequate for my stay.
Its location is great for your stay if you are going to UCLA or exploring Santa Monica. It's a 2-minute walk to the bus station on Wilshire Blvd, which has metro buses (#20) and Big Blue Bus (#2) going to UCLA, Santa Monica 3rd Street Promenade, or Downtown LA. You can also walk a little more (6-8 minutes) to Santa Monica Blvd and catch many of the buses that go on that street. The neighborhood is also great, with a some good restaurant options within walking distance.
My stay at the apartment was wonderful, and I'd definitely stay there again in the future!
Ena and her husband were great! We didn't even remember they were there, so quiet and respectful, they are truly great people and come HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as guests. I even received some great advice on UI/UX for a website we have. They are welcome back anytime and we really enjoyed having them.
One of the best most pleasant, respectable, clean, and super happy and positive energy guests I've ever had in 3 years! Pleasure to have you and your family any time!
Thoroughly enjoyed the bit of time I spent with both Ena and Paulo. If they are potential guests, I'm sure you'll feel the same.
Ena was awesome. She has a great personality and communicates very well. She left my place in great shape and replaced anything that needing to replace (even though she could have used the Tip Jar if she didn't get to it). She is more than welcome to use the Beach House again whenever she wants :-)
Location, location, location, and all around good vibes are the best things to say about this Westside accommodation! I've stayed at Ena's place twice over the past 2.5 years. Their place is sunny, comfy, very clean and really nice smelling allll the time! I love that it's a 60-second walk to Ross and other food establishments, and a 3-minute walk to one of Brentwood's nicest barre / bar method studios. The Santa Monica blue bus stops are also just a few steps away from the apartment. Suited for singles and couples, the room has full length wardrobe mirrors and enough closet space for clothes and suitcases. I also love that there was a private toilet and shower accessible from the room itself. With touches of artistry and shabby chic, soft fresh towels and pillows, and high thread count cotton linens, I could not have asked for better in that part of LA!
Conveniently located in the Westside, Ena's place gives you access to Santa Monica, Venice Beach and Malibu... pretty much all the best West Los Angeles has to offer! She's an excellent host as she's had her fair share of travels (using Airbnb of course!) and knows what a great Airbnb experience is all about. I've stayed at her place a couple times (pre-Airbnb days) and it has great natural lighting, plenty of space, and a cozy 'feels just like home' ambiance. My favorite part of staying with her? She's always attentive to your needs, and even surprises you with a glass of freshly squeezed OJ or two on weekends!
