I'm from New York; I live in California now. I love traveling and seeing new places. I spent a formative semester living and traveling in India, which was amazing. I want to replicate the energy I devoted to seeing India to seeing my hometown, or wherever I happen to be; I want to approach familiar places like a tourist. That said, I like to spend most of my time getting off the beaten track, and seeing a town like a local, albeit one who wants to live as much of the local scene as possible in a limited time.
I love architecture-Zaha Hadid, Frank Ghery, Jean Nouvel--and the outdoors--especially backpacking, (ocean) swimming, and biking. I like meeting new people all the time, but my favorite thing is to get to know a small group of people really well.
For my future guests--I can't wait to host you. I hope I get to hang out with you. I have two roommates, who work at the same tech company as me. We work moderately long hours, so during the week it's a bit hard to hang out as much as we'd like, but I hope we at least get to share a meal.
For the hosts where I'd be staying in a space I'd share with you: I'm a clean roomie, and while I sometimes stay out late, I am super quiet when I get back. As a guest, I'd love to get your thoughts on what to see and do in the area. If you're down to hang out and maybe show me some of your hometown, that'd be great. If not, that's cool too.
