Alicia is awesome. Her place was clean and in a great location, about a 5 minute walk to the main square, Plaza de Armas. She was very responsive and met us at the place when we arrived . She took time to give us good places to eat and what to do around the town. She even let us use the apartment the day we were supposed to check out at no charge since our flight didn't leave until 7pm, which enabled us to leave our bags there while we went out into town. I highly recommend her place if you are visiting Cusco.
Alicia's friendly reception quickly made us feel comfortable in the apartment and her tips helped us enjoy the city, despite our brief stay. The place is nicely located in a central neighborhood and we were able to visit most of the bright spots in Cusco by foot, even during the evening. The place offers all you might need (there's a nice washing machine that will certainly be useful if you plan to stay for a while). Kudos for the warm blanket and the clean sheets, that made us very happy in the cold night of Cusco.
Alicia was very nice & welcoming. She went out of her way to make you feel comfortable. Easy to contact if you have questions. If there are places or site you want to see, she has friends who can plan your trip to Cusco to be enjoyable.
Alicia was very accommodating to our late arrival in Cusco. Her friend Patrick met us at the bus terminal and took us to the flat. The apartment was comfortable and near the main plaza with warm water, a washing machine, and working Internet. Patrick met us in the morning and we stashed our bags at his place since we had an afternoon flight. All in all, a delight to deal with Alicia and Patrick and stay at the apartment
Alicia was an awesome host - there were some hiccups when we arrived (roof leaking and fridge broken) but she did everything in her power to fix all those things and it was all fine after that. It's in a great location and had awesome wifi. But just a couple things - I personally prefer natural sunlight into an apartment, which there isn't any into the main living area downstairs. Also it is next to a hostel and restaurant, so there is a bit of noise and clatter from that.
I would recommend this place though just because Alicia is an awesome person who did everything she could to help us out and it was great to meet her. She gave us some great recommendations for restaurants nearby too.
Alicia was very nice to wait for us as well as we were running a bit behind. The apartment is very close to the main drag (Plaza de Armas). She gave us some excellent suggestions for breakfast and dinner that were fantastic (Jacks and Museo del Pisco). Since the apartment wasn't immediately booked up after us, she was kind enough to let us leave a bag in the apartment while we went to Machi Picchu and we picked it up on the way back. Overall, great apartment with a great location.
Alicia was waiting patiently for us after being an hour late, no problem at all. We sat down and Alicia gave us a run down of the things to do in and around Cusco. The apartment itself was perfect for our needs of relaxing after the Salkantay trek. There was a bit of noise coming from the small courtyard/entrance hall which is shared by other apartments, but not to much of an annoyance. We asked if it'd be possible to check out at 10pm as we were getting a night bus to lake Titicaca, this was no problem at all and at no extra cost. Perfect location only a few minutes walk to the main square. Strongly recommend!!
We stayed here for a month and it was great. Alicia's place is located right downtown in San Blas a short walk from many highlights and Plaza de Armas. Alicia is a very nice and accommodating person. The water shuts off most nights and sometimes the electricity can shut off but that happens anywhere in San Blas. The kitchen is well equipped, the shower gets hot, the WiFi is 4mbps and there is a washer dryer. The only little complaint is that the restaurant next door uses the blender pretty much all night and there is noise from people coming and going from the hostel in the building. Overall a good place and worthwhile.
Alicia's apartment is amazing! It's very large and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower got very hot; however, the give and take with Cusco showers (I discovered with the few I used) is that with hot water comes little pressure. We didn't use the tv but Alicia showed us many channels available. The apartment is in a perfect location--in San Blas close to Plaza de Armas. Due to a late train and an early flight, we were only there for one night but I wish I could have stayed for longer. Alicia was very accommodating, and waited for us when our train arrived late from Machu Picchu. She also have us tips on getting a taxi to the airport the following morning. Stay here!
Though I wasnt around in order to be the perfect host, Alicia managed to be the perfect guest, thanks so much for staying with us :)
