I am originally from Germany and transferred to the US in 2007 to pursue a Ph.D. in the Humanities. I have now completed my degree and currently work as a postdoctoral fellow at Washington University in St. Louis, teaching and researching issues of migration and the history of the Holocaust and other genocides. I am also interested in feminist and gender studies.
I have lived in Russia for a while, and continue to travel around the world as I pursue research and other study-related activities.
I am 36 years old, responsible, quiet, and I try to be attentive to others around me.
I often travel to attend conferences, or to do research, usually looking to stay at places that get me away from the big convention hotels. Sometimes I just like to visit new places. Ideally, I can combine the former with the latter.
