Michal was an excellent hostess and even collected us from the bus station when we arrived in town. She had some fresh fruit waiting in the apartment. The apartment was basic but nice, and we prepared dinner a couple of nights there. There was a bit of road noise (being an open air place) but it was reasonable and the trade off of being one block from the nicest part of Jaco was worth it. We walked into town every day, may 15 minutes along the beach. We stayed fir a week and considered it to be an excellent value.
Michal was a great host. The apartment is not attached to the main house, close to the beach, and has a nice balcony with a view of the surf just down the street. The house is "Bali-style" with screens and no glass so, there is street noise but, the openness and ceiling fans help keep the apartment cool.
I met Michal in Orosi Valley, Costa Rica, just 2 months after I arrived there. It took us only half an hour to become friends. Recently I visited her and her family in Heradura -they hosted me warmly, introduce the area and let me feel so great. Michal and Andres are my first friends in Costa Rica. It is always fun for me to talk with her and to consult with her. And she is always happy to help, to listen and also to laugh together. It is a great luck to meet suddenly a new good friend.
Michal & Andres are great people and if you are looking to be sure on your reservation for your next holydays to costa rica you can be sure and safe with Marchevsky's!
Michal is a wonderful person and mother. She is caring and thoughtful. When we moved to Herradura some years ago she and her family made us feel welcome.
