The apartment is very modern and clean. Its location is great. Elisabet was a very cordial host. We had an issue with the shower and she was prompt to help us with extra towels. We enjoyed Reykjavik and Iceland and would love to go back in the future.
I can recommend this place hole heartedly. The communication was good, my emails were answered every time and fast.
Check in was a breeze, I don't think I've had an easier check in on Airbnb yet.
The really awesome part about this place, is not just that it delivers on style and cleanliness, but that it's in an awesome location!
You can walk around the shops, and we had rented a car, so it was really easy to get going from the house to anywhere on the island we wanted to go.
I would stay here again.
The stay was wonderful. We were unable to stay at the original apartment we booked due to electrical problems, but we were accommodated with another great apartment for two days and were very well taken care of. Elisabet was a great host and easy to contact. I would stay there again anytime.
We recommend this apartment wholeheartedly! Elisabet was helpful from the day of booking through to our departure. The apartment was exactly as advertised and in a brilliant position in central Reykjavik. Very comfortable and near everything you'd need for a great city visit. Tucked away in a very characteristic old house and just a few yards from the cathedral, main high street, shops, restaurants, museums, buses ...whatever you are wanting for your stay.
We had a lovely stay in Reykjavik in Elisabet's appartment.
It is a very modern flat, located in the city center, right in front of the famous church.
Very pleasant and very nice hosts.
Great location. Great space. All necessities were provided. Elisabet was very accommodating and professional.
Nice house in a great location. Responsive host when encountered wireless issues. We had six men and at that number, in the main house only without the extension, we had lots of space. With a larger group you probably would want to get the extension as well, unless you are happy with close quarters. To turn on the sauna you need to crank the dial twice.
We started our Iceland journey at Elisabet's luxury apartment and completely loved the stay. Very convenient walking distance to everything and we especially enjoyed the Loki cafe next door. The apartment is designed by a renowned architect and accurately portrayed in the photographs. Elisabet was easily accessible for anything we needed and so was her son, Viktor. I would highly recommend staying in any of her properties.
We had a wonderful few days and Elisabet made us very welcome. The house is very comfortable and exactly as described. A great neighbourhood too - I defy anyone not to be tempted by the gorgeous Icelandic clothes in Geysir on the street corner!
