Oh hi... I am a pixel pushing, mix tape listening, pun forming espresso junkie that loves his job and invariably works too much. Regardless of where I am or what I'm doing I welcome whatever comes with a smile and a super easy going attitude.

When I'm not at work I'm hittin' the indie cinemas, listening to tunes, going to shows, playing my bass, reading, cooking, wandering the city and looking for good foodie spots.

I just got a bike this past Summer and I love it. I haven't had a bike for almost 12 years and I'm losing my mind at how frickin' awesome it is to fly around everywhere! Wherever I travel for the next little while I am definitely shipping my bike along with me!

My General Interests in no particular order:

Books: Douglas Coupland, Vonnegut, James Clavell, Cormac McCarthy, Elmore Leonard, Hunter Thompson, Raymond Chandler, Dashiell Hammet,Roald Dhal, Shel Silverstein.

Movies: Coen Brothers, Wes Anderson, Terence Malick, Coppola (senior), Kubrick, Hitchcock, Stone, Scorsese, Chris Nolan, Guy Ritchie, Kurusawa, David Lean. Realistically I will watch ANYTHING from ANY genre. I try and get something out of every movie I watch.

Shows: Arrested Development, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Anything HBO.

Music: I like ALOT of differnt kinds of music and love new introductions. These days I've been listening pretty regularly to punk, motown, Drum and Bass, Rockabilly Surf, and lots of old swing jazz from the 20's 30's and 40's.

Food: I will eat (just about) ANYTHING. And I'll have a go at cooking just about anything too. Definitely a hobbyist chef.

What am I like as a guest? I would say extremely adaptable. I pride myself on creating a very small footprint in whatever environment I'm in. This helps me stay mobile and prepares me for sudden changes in my schedule. If I'm a guest in your home the chances are I've travelled for a job so most of my time will probably be spent at my work and out of your hair.

When I am around though, I will likely be relaxing with a beverage and watching some headphoned (that's a verb AND an adjective right?) movies or reading. I'm always up for conversation with folks in a place I'm new to and am happy to discuss my work or anything else for that matter. Like seriously, anything. I have very little scruples :p

Really AirBnB? A life motto? Ok...well... Life is a series of challenges and problems. There isn't any sense in getting upset about things. You just need to make the best of the situation and move forward positively in any way you can. Bourbon helps too!

To whomever I might wind up staying with, I look forward to meeting you!
