Amazing place would stay again, also loved the breakfast!
What a wonderful experience. It's a lovely family hotel with beautiful furnishings and comfortable beds and a lot of free books and a delicious widespread breakfast. Our host was multilingual, kind and welcoming. Plus, it's right next to the bus station so that's the reason I would highly recommend Casa Annasr to any travelers coming on thus bus who want to drop off their bags and then walk into the Blue City.
Our only hangup was water in the shower not piping hot (but I bet that our host would have fixed that immediately but we didn't ask because we were only there for one night). The whole place was so warm that we didn't mind at all - but there were heaters in the room and a big fire and the whole place was warm and welcoming and can be. We plan to stay here again when we come back.
Very nice place, great view, nice and helpful people. Very recommended,
Very nice hotel. Spacious room and Edoua is very friendly
We had a really pleasant time at Casa Annasr. The best thing is the location, right across the street from the CTM bus station. Room was huge and was really comfortable! Edouaa was really welcoming and very generous.
Edouaa is an excellent host, he speaks some English and made me feel welcome from the minute I arrived with tea and a croissant. The room was a suite with a large living room and kitchen with a fridge and washing machine, separate bathroom, a bedroom with a balcony. Hot cooked breakfast served in the morning, fast internet and parking in front of the place.
It about 1.2 km from the old town and a taxi will cost you 1 euro, though Edouaa gave me a ride a couple of times and helped me get a Morroco SIM card.
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel which was unfortunately only for one night. The hotel is perfectly situated just next to the Gare Routiere (look for the blue hotel on the corner). It is not in the medina of Chefchaouen but the medina is only a short taxi ride away and I believe it is more quite and calm here . The room and the whole decor of the hotel was very charming and with a great morroccco atmosphere. The room was so cosy and cool in the hot day but with possibility to have a fire in the cold night. Beautiful view of the valley from the terrace!!
Edouaa gave us a great welcome and was most helpful throughout our short stay. Even though we arrived very late he helped us arrange for some food at the room. Next day we had a delicious breakfast and the staff even pressed fresh orange juice of oranges we had brought with us. The host helped us arrange transport to the medina and helped us book our next accommodation. All in all I can highly recommend this hotel which gives great value for money and would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. Warm regards Julie
Awesome little hotel on the edge of town with free parking and good breakfast! Staff was very friendly and helpful and wifi was good. It is a 25 minute walk to the main medina on some steep hills, but overall a great place to stay for this price and a little peace and quiet!!
My son and I had a lovely visit in Chefchaouen - our host made us feel completely welcome and cared for. He got us a taxi when needed to go to the old part of town, then helped us with bus schedules the next day. The riad is located quite a distance from the old part of town, but we walked it (downhill). Super close to the bus station, though, which is very convenient if that's how you're traveling. Our room was spacious, with a sitting area, power connections, wi-fi and everything we could need. Not plush but very accommodating.
