Mary stayed at our house with her daughter and aunt on their brief trip to LA. They were great guests, we had many interesting conversations and laughs with them. They are excellent cooks and they invited us to join them in some of the best food we have ever tasted! They are always welcomed back and we look forward to seeing them again soon!
We so enjoyed Mary, her Aunt and daughter. They were very lovely guests, very interested, and we had very interesting conversations. I hope they can return one day and stay here again.
Dear Ellen,This is the most pleasant stay through the USA period,You are very kind and lovely,We hope to see you again.
I've had the pleasure of hosting hundreds of individuals from around the globe with Airbnb and countless for whom English is a foreign language. The language issue was to say the least, stressful. Mary ignored numerous attempts to communicate with regard to arrival and refused to respond. In the end I was immobilized for 12 hours and unable to focus on work or to step out, even for a brief errand while anticipating her check-in. It was apparent that she chose to translate some select messages, but on the most important questions you may have when hosting a guest, expect nothing from Mary. Being a world traveler requires effort, and she made no attempt to learn even the bare basics - "Please" and "Thank you". If your desire is to speak only your native language while traveling, then I suggest staying in a hotel where they are better equipped to accommodate you.
