We had a great stay. The apartment was awesome. I used to live in that neighborhood and I felt like I was home again. Would definitely consider this spot on our next stay!
We had a wonderful time staying at Danyelle's place. It was so cute, cozy, and incredibly clean. Her place has beautiful vaulted ceilings and crown moulding, and was beautifully decorated. It was so great to have fresh towels provides for us. The neighborhood was fine, not the nicest but the location was great with Whole Foods right around the corner and the Golden Gate park right down the street. The first night we had a hard time finding parking but the second night we found a place right in front. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend anyone to stay there!
We enjoyed our weekend stay at Danyelle's place very much. Check-in was quick and easy, communication with Danyelle was great, and the apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet only a block away from hopping Haight Street with any number of restaurants, shops and bars. Easy access to public transport made exploring further afield a breathe. The apartment was perfectly clean and spacious. We appreciated the little shampoo and toiletries that were left out for us, and enjoyed the roomy shower with great water pressure. Wifi was strong and reliable. The king size bed was comfortable and no noise from the neighbors to disturb our sleep. Overall, a perfect place to stay for us and we'd love to rent this apartment again next time we come to San Francsico.
This was our first airbnb rental and it couldn't have been a better introduction. Danyelle made everything clear, simple and easy. One warning: The photos on her listing just doesn't do her place justice. Her spacious apartment is in a beautiful Victorian building on a corner just one short block to the west end of Haight St. and one longer block to Golden Gate Park. The apartment is very comfortable and decorated with cool, eclectic, relaxing artful stuff everywhere. The ceilings are incredibly high, must be 15 ft or so. And considering that you're just a block away from Haight, it's amazingly quiet.
Only potential issue is parking. Hey, it's San Francisco, where it is always a bad idea to have a car since there's great transportation everywhere. But we chose to drive up from L.A. Maybe just good luck, but we never had to park more than a block away, either at a 2-hr meter or a no-cost spot on the street.
I let Danyelle know that I am a dad who would be staying with his 15 yr old daughter and her friend. The girls would get the bedroom and I told Danyelle the couch would be just fine for me. But when we got there she had had the courtesy and thoughtfulness to put up a very comfy and large air mattress and bedding in the living room.
I think one of the other reviewers said that her daughter didn't want to leave. Absolutely right.
Place was very clean. Comfy bed, too big for one person really. Good water pressure in shower, didn't really interact with neighbors.
Great location for UCSF (10-15 min walk). Whole foods near by, a bunch of restaurants on haight, close to the muni.
Wireless internet was very fast.
What a wonderful apartment in the perfect spot -- and Danyelle made it easy to enjoy it! Directions were clear, the flat was beautiful -- clean and bright and filled with light -- and peaceful, though it is so close to so much: Golden Gate Park, the fun neighborhood of Haight-Ashbury, access to all of San Francisco either by public transportation or driving.
We had a lovely time, and were grateful to have such a sweet retreat after long days of sightseeing in the bustle of the city. My 14 year old daughter wanted to move in! Thanks, Danyelle!
Danyelle was a great host, very accommodating in terms of checking in and the apartment was spacious, quiet and clean with fresh sheets and towels.
The apartment is perfectly located for the Golden Gate Park (I can personally recommend the California Academy of Sciences) and is an easy bus journey into the downtown area.
The apartment was very pretty and the location was perfect. We enjoyed our stay very much!
We really enjoyed our stay at this cute apartment. The location is one of the best if you love to get out and walk around. Literally one block from Haight and Ashbury area where it is great to walk and see all of the eclectic shops and one block from Golden Gate Park for the perfect escape from the city. Around the corner is a whole foods which was great because we had options for cooking in (the kitchen was perfect for cooking) and we had options for eating out. The place was clean and the perfect size for a quick weekend away. Danyelle was the perfect host. I highly recommend this place!
