We arrived at the apartment and were greeted by Rob's mother who was very nice and accommodating by showing us the in's and out's of the apartment. It was a nice, cozy little apartment in a central neighborhood which was nice! There was a great pub and cafe nearby and the neighborhood in general was pretty central to everything! All in all, Rathmines is a nice quiet area to stay and I had a great time living in Rob's apartment for the week.
Cosy and clean apartment, great location, friendly and no-nonsense host. Nothing to complain about... maybe it would have been nice with wifi, but the nice coffe shop on the corner had free wifi so no complaints there either!
Wonderfully quirky, homey place to stay, very convenient for walking into Dublin. Loved it. Don't miss the Bernard Shaw - particularly the pizza bus!
Great location, easy going host and lots of towels!
Rob's place offered a nice location to explore Dublin. A 15 minute walk to the hustle bustle of the city center and Dublin Castle, a 15 minute walk to Ranaleagh village (great food! Eat at Cinnamon or La Bodega--both were fantastic). Had drinks at The Bleeding Horse--a 10 minute walk. Morning coffee and wi-fi at The Grove Road coffee bar on the corner. It was about 7 euro to get to the Gaol and Guinness tour. All in all, a great trip. The walls are quite thin, but that's city life for you! Rob was great about checking in to ensure we were comfortable. Thanks for a great place to stay!
Great location in a peaceful road just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Dublin. Rob was very helpful with regards to transport from the airport and a list of things to do in Dublin for the weekend. The flat is minutes away from great little restaurants and bars too.
This was SUCH a wonderful place to stay. Eva and Bob were such sweethearts. The house was very home-y and breakfast was great each morning. Getting into downtown was easy and just about a 15 min ride on the 15 bus. Hopefully we get to stay there again!!!
Thank you for your beautiful card to us. It was our great pleasure to have you you and let hope we meet again in the future
Eva and her husband were really very friendly. They were available to support us with our needs. The rooms were comfortable and the area was quite and nice. Another good thing was the bus stop station, just in front of the house! Great!!
We left very early in the morning on our departure, at 4:30 am, nevertheless Eva and her husband were there to offer us a good breakfast, to assure the taxi was coming and to say us goodbye.
Thanks Eva and Robert !
Loved having Ester and her family, we had some grreat chats and I would highly recommend them for any stayovers.
We had a warm welcome from Rob's Mum. The apartment is really nice and cute. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood just 15-20 min walking from city center. Lots of bars and restaurant around Camden street Lower (5 min walk). We enjoyed of being there. Great place to stay in Dublin!
