I'm mostly away from Bangkok because of my work. My mother, sister, brother and I will coordinate to ensure the best stay for you and your family.

Check in was a breeze. Clean towels were provided. Host was good to provide a guide as well. The rm view is more of a city view than river view
Sasa is very welcoming host. Very communicative and helpful. We had been slightly disappointed by the fact that original apartment on 21 floor had some issues so we moved to another on the 6 floor. But everything was fine after all.
The location itself is perfect - Pepsi pear in 3 minutes walk and BTS station in walking distance. Pool on 5 floor is beautiful. Grocery store on the ground floor.
We are American and a couple traveling with a 10 and 6 year old. We enjoyed staying in this apartment very much. The bed is most definitely a king size by American standards (as I have found that twin, queen, and king are very confused in Thailand). Mas was a wonderful host that was quick to reply to our request to book. The unit was clean and after arriving from Hong Kong, the space was much bigger. Mas suggested we use her contact driver from the Bangkok airport for our late arrival and hands down, I cannot recommend him enough. It was 900 Baht and well worth the price as he patiently waited for our late flight. The only two things I would warn about... I suggest if you have more than three people you bring another pillow as one of the pillows was very hard and thick. And the other is that there was a discrepancy in the short term traveler being allowed to rent in this unit. I felt on edge when we entered and exited that we might lose the right to stay there. Long term residents don't like unruly visitors. This is not the place so don't be one! :) (IE, no partiers allowed).
When we made the booking, we had mentioned to Mas that we would be arriving at 3am, following which she offered us a rate. Two days before our arrival, she wrote to us saying we had to pay for an additional night since we were arriving so early. We had to delay our check-in; at 8am when we called Mas, she first complained about us coming in early and then said the place we were originally booked to stay at had some plumbing issues, so she would move us to another acco nearby.
She sent a local to show us the place, who did not speak any English, but to our relief, was very helpful and made sure we were okay.
All said and done, the new place on the 19th floor at Baan Sathorn Chaphraya condo on Charoen Nakhon 15A was quite clean and spacious with great views of the river and Bangkok's skyline. It is a 5-min tuk-tuk or cab ride away from Krung Thonburi Station and walking distance to some really nice restaurants.
Mas' arrival kit on e-mail was elaborate and gave us much of the initial information we needed.
Sasa was great! She informed us that she needed to change our booking due to water damage in our original booking. The new place was in the same area and had a beautiful view from the balcony. It was a nice upgrade at no additional cost. She provided us with an Internet password, so that we could get online at the airport and text her to let her know we were on our way. We were greeted by her friend and given a great booklet of what to do and where to eat! As well her place is above a 24 hour grocery store - fantastic! The apartment is very spacious and clean! I thought it was a great location to visit the sites. We enjoyed our stay!
This was my second stay with Mas. It was perfect like always. Thank you so much!!!
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The apartment itself is very nice and modern with all the amenities we could ask for. In the neighborhood there are a few good cheap restaurants and there are supermarkets (one directly below infact). Location is a little out but not bad. I would saw it took around 30mins by metro to get to the Siam Centre (big shopping plaza), or to get to The Grand Palace, Wat Pho and other attractions you need to cross the river by the little ferry (3bht) then take express boat (15bht) (Note tourist express boat is 40bht so avoid).
My only concern regarding this otherwise lovely apartment was that the other tenants in the building seems to not like airbnb guests short stays. This lead to us being asked to not use the pool area, and also being questioned a couple of times by the neighbors asking why we are here. It didn't bother us too much, but I worry this may become a bigger deal in the future as the other tenants launch legal campaigns to prevent short lets....
Great place and great view, really enjoy to stay in such apartment. Hope can come again in future.
She was made a reservation for her friend
An immaculate, well equipped and comfy apartment in a very convenient location, great for travellers wanting to experience more than just a Bangkok transit, or business people like myself, who want the private space after business to wind down and relax. The family who own it are an added benefit, charming and caring.
