The condo met all of our expectations in terms of location, cleanliness, etc. Sasa did not respond to my emails in the weeks leading up to our stay, but did respond via text the day before our arrival. Picking up the key proved to be difficult as Sasa was not the person to meet us and this person was unaware that we would be arriving at the time we did. This resulted in us standing in the lobby for 30 minutes at 9pm at night with our young daughter in tow. This being said, the person who checked us in was extremely kind and helpful. Our primary concern is that it appears to be against the law for condo owners to rent their condos as a short-term lease. There was a letter posted by the condo association in the elevator, which was dated mid-August. We also saw postings from disgruntled condo owners which stated that "not all farangs (foreigners) are short-term renters." Apparently, this is a hot issue right now for those living in the building. The condo management, which is located on the same level as the pool and fitness room, was not very nice to us when using the facilities (i.e., pool) probably for this reason. This made us feel very uncomfortable; I would personally not rent this condo again for these reasons.

Sassa's apartment was just what we were looking for: generously-sized (for two people), conveniently located, quiet, very clean and comfortable. The building was in excellent condition, with good security; the pool was a welcome bonus at the end of a hot day! Only 2 minutes' walk from the Sky Train, for straightforward access to prime tourist spots. There is a 7-11 (covenience store) across the street from the building and a good choice of local (non-tourist) eateries, including 2 of note: SIM Suki Family Restaurant for Shabu-Shabu (opposite the 7-11 on the corner) and the fish restaurant right next door to Sim Suki. Although we did not have the chance to meet her, Sassa was always available when we needed help explaining how to get to the apartment. Her house manual was very helpful, with clear instructions and useful information, and the key arrangements worked well.

we (a family of 4 people) were sleeping for 3 nights in a different appartment which we didnt choose before. the location was perfect but the overall experience was so-so.
the communication was not good. sasa answered only direct phone calls.
a friend of her does the checkin, but in an exchanged appartment of a friend of her in the same building, because the original has some "water problems". this appartment was not similar to the original booked one, which we choose due to the nice and well equiped rooms.
the pictures on airbnb are looking much better. also one double bed was exchanged by a two level separated child bed (but no bunk bed), a problem for two persons larger than 1,80 m.
our request for discount was not answered.
to sum up, if you wanna stay only a few nights it is working, but we were really disappointed. also because of a letter from the juristic person of the building in the elevator, explaining that we are illegal if we stay there.

Great apartment with an awesome view. Just a leak in the bathroom which meant we all had to share the en suite. Slow to respond but Sansa arranged for her friend to show us the apartment when we arrived
C'est un bel appartement avec une magnifique vue sur la ville, sutout de nuit. Nous y avons dormi 5 jours avec nos deux jeunes enfants sans problème. La situation géographique est parfaite : à l'écart de la nuée de touristes de quartiers comme Kao San mais à proximité directe des express boat pour le centre culturel de Bangkok et du skytrain pour tout le reste. Le supermarché ouvert 24/24h au rez de chaussée nous a été bien utile et la piscine au 5ème bien agréable. Nous savons où venir si nous revenons à Bangkok.
Mas (Sasa) was initially difficult to get ahold of for directions to the condo due to some family issues she was having, but, thankfully, it was all settled a few days before arrival. I really appreciate that she was readily available via mobile to help sort out the hiccups in the building when I arrived on a very delayed flight at 5:30am.
Once inside, her place was clean and wonderfully appointed - just as pictured. The guide book and other extras (DVDs and a few toiletries) she left behind helped me to feel at home right away. The flat is close to the BTS station (use exit 3 and walk behind the 7-11) which is very convenient for getting around the city. Try the hotpot restaurant by the 7-11 - you won't regret it.
The next time I'm in Bangkok I'll be sure to stay at her place if it's available.

An immaculate, well equipped and comfy apartment in a very convenient location, great for travellers wanting to experience more than just a Bangkok transit, or business people like myself, who want the private space after business to wind down and relax. The family who own it are an added benefit, charming and caring.
