disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia en el Departamento, nos llevaron las llaves antes de la hora de entrada ya que el vuelo llego temprano y nos explicaron cómo funcionaba el depa, muy amables, y el departamento muy cómodo.
It was a really easy and friendly contact with Mariel, she was helpful and responded always in no time. We stayed in the apartment for four days and loved the apartment with the patio in the middle and the neighborhood. The apartment is perfectly located in Condesa with many very nice restaurants and shops just around the corner. There is a really good Italian restaurant left of the apartment and a delicious taco place just at the corner of the street. Thanks to Mariel and her husband for making our stay so comfortable!
My girlfriends and I had an amazing time at Mariel's house. Her husband was very kind to wait for us upon our super late arrival, after midnight, and he provided very good instructions. The apartment is located in a really nice neighborhood, next to a delicious organic restaurant and the facility had all the things described. We slept very well and the apartment has all the things you need to cook, bath, and sleep. I do recommend this place for anybody visiting to relax in DF.
Beautiful apartment and great location. We had a wonderful stay at Mariel's property. She was readily available during the time leading up to arrival and flexible with our checkin and checkout requirements. The apartment itself looks new, is very clean and ideally located for work and play in Condesa and surrounding neighborhoods.
Mariel's apartment is big, nice and very well located in La Condesa. A great spot to visit DF. I highly recommend it.
Mariel and her charming son met me at the apartment in the evening, as I came from the airport. They explained to me how to use the WiFi, which was reliable, offered a bowl of fresh fruit, and explained to me the layout of the land on the map. Mariel maintained the supply of drinking water, in lieu of tap water, which is deemed possibly unsafe in the city. The apartment had several electrical heaters, to be used on chilly nights and a spare umbrella. (Even the fanciest apartments in Mexico City do not have central heating or air conditioning.) The apartment is spacious, and the bed and pillows (in the master bedroom) are most comfortable.
The apartment is (locally) optimally located. The street on which the apartment is located has multiple restaurants, and the nearby Tamaulipas street has more. One can walk to bookstores and places to take salsa classes. There are multiple Starbucks cafes in the vicinity, El Pendulo, which is a bookstore and a cafe, and Ave Amsterdam is a pleasant walk away. The apartment strikes a good balance between being where the action is and remaining in a relatively quiet (but lively) neighbourhood, feeling like home.
The apartment's location also makes it rather easy to get out of la Condesa and get on the highway, which was valuable to me, as I had to travel for work.
The apartment faces an interior courtyard and is on the ground floor, which means it does not get much sunlight. It also means that it is therefore quiet. In addition, the interior courtyard has a washing machine, which I was welcome to use.
Mariel has been most accommodating in providing additional linen and assuaging my anxiety about drinking water running out some time soon by maintaining a week-long supply of water in the closet.
I have very much enjoyed my stay at Mariel's apartment and Mariel's hospitality. I would stay at the apartment again.
Mariel's apartment was exactly as advertised. Comfortable, spacious and clean. It is in a great location if you want to be near the Metro in Mexico City and is just a quick walk to many coffee shops and neighborhood restaurants. For anyone looking to stay in the Narvarte neighborhood, I would suggest staying here. Lots of room for many people and decent amenities.
The description for this home meets expectations. The house is spacious, clean and in an excellent neighborhood. We reached out to Mariel on airbnb with less than 48 hours advance notice requesting to stay and she was very accommodating. We also arrived to the home over an hour later than expected and Mariel's husband Giuseppe was patiently waiting for us to deliver the keys to the property in person. We really appreciated how flexible and accommodating they were and highly recommend them to host your stay in Mexico City. There are plenty of dining options just footsteps away. Regarding transportation, Ecobici's are available in the area and you can also get anywhere in a taxi or via Uber. We rented a vehicle (not recommended) and street parking is available for 8 pesos per hour with a total of 6 hour increments. Would definitely stay here again when we return to Mexico City soon. Thanks Mariel & Giuseppe!
Mariel and her husband are very lovely. The aparent is very spacious and very very very well located. I reccomend ir.
This space was in a gorgeous neighborhood and really made us feel at home during our five-day stay in Mexico City! While definitely not quiet (lots of rowdy dogs and neighbors doing repair work in the building 24/7), we still found the place to be a really nice break from exploring the city. The five of us could have honestly used a bit more space (and possibly another bathroom!) but we were very happy to stay here and Mariel and her husband made it easy to pick up and drop off the keys at either end of our stay.
