About Me
BA Creative Arts, SJSU, CA
The Neptune Society of Northern California
Hey, I'm Carolyn!
San Francisco, California, United States · Member since May 2009

I live in San Francisco and like to travel for health conferences and nutrition events and take little mini-vacations when I can. I work in administration for The Neptune Society of Northern California at a beautiful historic landmark called the Columbarium.

I enjoy reading, writing, and filmmaking and in my spare time I'm usually in the middle of a book or working on my first novel and screenplay or an article for Hubpages where I'm known as "carozy". I love movies, hanging with my friends, and would describe myself as an outgoing, friendly type. I also like running, especially when I'm in good shape to do so. ;) I'm learning French but that is going pretty slow since I tend to get busy with other things often.

I don't smoke and I'm pretty tidy. I live with 3 roommates and we all get along well - we're all low drama. I don't drink (just not into it) and I'm vegan so I'm used to doing a lot of my own cooking, although I'm good about making it quick (having 3 roomies and a tiny kitchen.)

I like animals but don't have any pets so if you have one I'll be pretty happy. You're welcome to check out my blog on (carowindmill) blogspot. I have used airbnb in the past and have had great experiences and look forward to having more! I think it's more fun than staying in a hotel to meet folks when I travel.

Movies: Super 8, Flowers of War, Zelary, and a lot of others actually
Music: Brandi Carlile
Book: Suite Francaise at the moment and non-fiction books about screenplay structure
Food: vegan
Sports: running and swimming
Causes: I learned about Sean Penn's work in Haiti and I'm very impressed. So I like to spread the message about what he does there when I can. I'm also fond of the Make a Wish foundation and the micro-lending organizations. I also like Working Villages International which helps make awesomeness happen in Africa.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thanks for reading :)
