I'm originally from Little Rock, but have since lived in St. Louis, Seattle, New Orleans and now DC. A great, interesting mix of places, and I've loved each one of them for different reasons. As a little personal background, I currently work for an environmental non-profit, and I spend a lot of my time with schools and school districts.
My favorite ways to spend time: exploring new places on foot, conversation with good friends and some bottles of wine, reading a great book outside, enjoying hot tea after a long day, having fun with a tough workout, riding rollercoasters, going to see some live music.
I'm a huge fan of Airbnb and have gotten a number of friends on here, too. I think I'm a pretty easy guest (insofar as I can assess that myself...). My mom taught me well: leave it how you found it. My educational background is in architecture, and I really value and respect cozy, well taken-care-of spaces. When I travel, I prefer to let the trip unfold while I'm on it, so I don't plan too closely beforehand. That said, I communicate well, and do not flake out on commitments once I make them.
Life motto: Happiness isn't the absence of problems but the ability to deal with them.
