The casita was private and comfortable and well equipped. Christine was very helpful with a knowledge of the area and provided current local media to guide us on our weekend touring.
The Wi-fi was intermittent. In their defense we were told it works best by the pool but it rained both nights we stayed.
The casita was exactly as described. We arrived shortly after other guests had left but we were welcome to unload our things and walk around the property. There were people around but we felt very private. We are making plans now to return.
Christine and her husband were most welcoming and their proximity to the national park at Tumacacori was perfect. The provided wine, coffee, and fresh fruit were unexpected and greatly appreciated. We are outdoor enthusiasts and enjoyed the nearby hiking trails and bird watching opportunities. Even in January we added two more birds to our life lists, both directly in front of the casita! This was a very quiet, clean, and comfy stay for us.
Exactly as described. We had a great experience--comfortable, clean, affordable, homey. Quite pleased with our decision to stay there.
A very unique experience in a great location. Wonderful and talented hosts! Thank you for the accommodations with a full kitchen.
Beautiful hidden gem with a view of the Tumacacori mission bell tower. The upstairs bedroom is like waking up in a treehouse with its view of the trees and sky. We were there in the monsoon season and it was green and lush, a real treat for us So Arizonans. We loved sitting on the front porch and listening to the rain on the roof and watching lightening bugs!
The kitchen was stocked with all the necessaries for cooking along with some fresh fruit and a lovely bottle of wine.
The DeAnza trail borders this property and provides a great opportunity to walk to both Tumacacori and Tubac. It's also an easy bike ride along the frontage road. Proximity to great shopping and dining.
Christine and her daughter were very easy to work with and responded promptly.
Really nice stay. Everything was ready for us when we arrived. Christine was out of town but she provided a contact for us in case we needed anything. Great location very quiet . Thank you!
I stayed in the loft Casita for 6 nights and found it to be very clean, comfortable, and private. Christine and her husband Ron were very welcoming and helpful with suggestions for places to eat and sightsee. The views were simply beautiful and it was a peaceful place to return to at the end of the day.
The only challenge I experienced was intermittent internet/phone reception.
We stayed in the Loft, the most spacious of the cottages, and it was lovey. Quiet, comfortable and private, with stunning views on a lovely property with beautiful wooded trails along the river at the end of the driveway. Everything was clean and well cared for. There was a bottle of local wine and a basket full of fruit and avocados to greet us, along with some helpful info about the area. Though there is plenty to do nearby, we were there to relax, and did so by taking walks nearby and lounging about in the sunny yard near the pool. It was perfect!
Ideal for birding and hiking on the Anza Trail. Great hosts, great location. Check out Wisdom's Cafe but get there early.
Christine rented my flat for 5 days for 4 people over Thanksgiving. From the moment we met she was hostile and rude, expressing disappointment with aspects of my home which had been clearly represented in my airbnb profile. She paid for 4 guests but for most of her stay there were 6. (This was confirmed by talking to her friends). She ignored my polite email and text messages attempting to resolve this issue, instead leaving me a very negative review on airbnb. Her friends were lovely and I wish I could be writing this review for them instead, but unfortunately Christine was the person to make the booking. I have never before had to deal with such an unpleasant guest and am sorry to have to be writing this.
