This tree house is incredible. It is totally worth the drive. Where do I start? The views are incredible, your bed is suspended from the ceiling ad swings. The net around the bed kept out all the bugs, which were not too bad to begin with. The kitchen is fully functional, and a pleasure to cook in. I really don't know how to put this. You should stay here... You should, it is incredibly romantic.
Proximity to down is not bad. 15 minutes. the drive is not so bad either, It's gonna be bumpy down to Montezuma, a little smoother from the ferry, you need a four wheel drive car, but it's not that bad.
The place is extremely well built and so beautiful. The pictures look gorgeous, but they don't even do it justice.
Very nice place and it is an experience to live! The view is incredible and we can hear the monkeys! The place is very safe with a lot of equipment in the kitchen. I would definitely recommend that place in Montezuma.
The tree house was an amazing experience. It has complete privacy and a view of the the jungle. The sounds of the jungle at night were pretty amazing and the sounds of the birds in the morning is nothing short of spectacular. We have lived in Costa Rica for over a year and this will be placed in our "top 5 things to do" in the country. It's like camping in a tree but more comfortable and with power, water, a fridge, a toilet and a comfy suspended bed. We were also lucky enough to have a storm roll through at night and it didn't disappoint. Such a great experience.
An interesting experience; was really amazed by how the structure even stays together and functions.
The treehouse functions as if it were a normal structure. Toilets work. Running water. Consistent power and gas for stove. We lucked out for the green season; didn't experience any rain, though the house stayed stable with the breezes.
The location is good; Montezuma, Cobano, Tambor, and Santa Teresa were all reasonable distances away (t say that the treehouse is for everyone. I would put it closer to camping than staying in a hotel room. One would need to be comfortable with the heat, humidity, critters that fly in and out, etc. For me, it was a way to experience to Costa Rica through all the senses, and in a way, made that portion of the trip that much more memorable.
I had a wonderful experience. Kathia was such a sweet heart and she is also a massage therapist. Joseph was quick to respond to my messages.
I can honestly say that the tree house humbled me. It was clean and truly breathtaking. Staying there is an experience I will never forget.
I did not have a car and it was off the beaten path so just remember that if you plan to stay a few days and want to cook or have food readily available. You may want to stop at the market prior.
I would absolutely stay here again.
Unique and very special place, best accomodation we had in CR.
Sacred Geome Tree was an absolutely wonderful experience. It was romantic and a chance to be more in touch with nature. The birds woke us gently in the morning with song, and the frogs croaked us to sleep at night. Do note that this is an actual tree house, you must be reasonably careful moving around. You should be ok with heights, bugs, and lizards. If you can handle those things, this is a must stay location. We briefly met some of the volunteers and farm workers, all were welcoming and helpful! Do a tour to learn about all they are doing. Also, check out nearby Tierra y Fuego for dinner, they have some of the most delicious Italian I have had. We rented a car just for this portion of our trip, and were glad we did. It would be quite a trek on foot. Via car we were able to explore various beach towns in the area.
Kathia was there to greet us with a smile! It was very easy to find and appeared in person exactly as it looked online. It was charming, enchanting, youthful & romantic all in one! I absolutely loved it. Perfectly set uo for two. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The swinging bed is romantic and the mosquito net was the best I've ever seen. Much to my surprise, no mosquitos, even in rainy season. I actually live around the corner and came with my husband for our anniversary. I will definitely be back & send friends to stay who come to visit me in Costa Rica! It was a night in my dream home!
Our host was in touch through a rain storm about road closures and the best way to make it to Rancho Delicioso. Joseph was a very gracious and understanding host. Kathia and the other volunteers on the farm were very warm and welcoming. I recommend you follow all of the directions of the hosts, like arriving before dark. The tree house itself is an amazing construction. Very well built and imaginative design. Come one, come all adventurers!
Joseph and Cassie were great guests! I wouldn't hesitate to host them again!
