Loved the tree house. It was exactly what we expected. Beautiful views, and a fun connection with the surrounding outdoors. Joseph and Jaques were both very welcoming, kind and understanding. Great access to Montezuma while remaining removed and secluded for a private vacation experience. The treehouse suits two people perfectly and comfortably. (From experience, we would not recommend having anymore than two people.) So many insects, but we were prepared and we did not mind. We loved hearing the rain during the night and the birds in the morning. Do not recommend storing anything on/under/around the couch in the kitchen area as the roof leaked and soaked some of our things. Not to worry though, we still had an excellent experience. We would return in a heart beat if ever planning to vacation in the area again.
Staying in tree house for two days was one of the BEST experiences we have ever had! We felt very welcomed by Jaques, she gave us organic bananas and mangos, loada of advice abiut the area etc. we felt safe in the surroundings and loved by mother nature.
Thank you Joseph for sharing this wonderful place with the world...
We absolutely loved our stay in the treehouse. A wonderful and once in a lifetime experience.
After a short introduction in the treehouse we enjoyed it from the start. The construction, the material, the view - everything.
- Cooking in the evening was really nice and we enjoyed the sound system, just plug and play with my iPhone. Perfekt.
- Taking a shower in the dark when you hear some mammals strolling around is a challenge and nothing for "Angsthasen"
The tree house was spectacular, such a cool way to experience Cost Rica! We stayed 3 nights here and just loved it. The location is a short drive to Montezuma (not walkable in my opinion) and also not far from Santa Teresa/Mal Pais which we enjoyed visiting.
My favorite part of the actual tree house was the shower, it was so refreshing (not hot, but not cold - you can get hot water but we were too hot already!) and being open to nature like that was a cool experience. Speaking of nature, the wildlife was fun to watch and we didn't have any major issues with insects, which I was a little wary about at first. We used the mosquito net around the bed and that was perfect for comfortable sleeping. On the topic of sleeping, if you are a light sleeper I recommend bringing ear plugs and/or an eye mask. The sun comes up earlier in Costa Rica and there are some sounds in the night that could potentially keep you awake (nothing crazy, but I'm a light sleeper so this was also a concern for me going in).
Lastly, I want to mention what nice people the folks at Rancho Delicioso are. They were very helpful and warm to us. It's quite a cool operation they've got going there - I wish we had taken a tour of the property and shared a meal with them as others mentioned in reviews (website hidden). Don't miss the Montezuma Falls, it's very close by and an amazing thing to see :)
Hello, our experience in the tree house was awesome, we had all needs in our hand, one of the best things was the floating bed, I had to say that we sleep like baby's. The sight that we had was nice. The host Jacques was help full she explains us all the things of the farm, we recommended this place 100%.
My friend and I had an INCREDIBLE time in the treehouse. We didn't want to leave.
The house is well-equipped and very comfortable. The toilet and shower are both secluded enough for it not to be an issue (I loved the shower - it was amazing being private to the house whilst totally 'open air' and able to see the wildlife. There is even a TV and a sound system, so we enjoyed making our morning coffee whilst listening to music and podcasts.
We didn't hire a car, but you can walk to Montezuma from the farm in around 40-50 minutes (we are both late twenties and pretty fit though - if you more than a little unfit or infirm then I recommend a hire car or call taxis. We tended to get taxis back no problem).
We didn't get to meet Joseph but he was very communicative and helpful; we did meet Jacques, Kelsey and Julio who were so welcoming. If you're thinking about this place don't think, just book! Truly one of the best experiences of my life.
Joseph was very helpful and responsive throughout arranging my stay here. On top of being architecturally awe-inspiring, the treehouse was really well-equipped and exceeded all my expectations and needs. I loved my stay in this very unique treehouse and being immersed in the surrounding nature!
Wow what a cool place! This is my first tree house experience and it was amazing! I really wish we would have had more time in this area and this place! 2 nights was not enough. I would recommend staying in Montezuma area for at least a week . The tree house was amazing, very clean and comfortable. Every detail was well thought out and executed.
We had a wonderful stay at the treehouse. It's a one of a kind, unique experience that we were so glad to have had. The setting is peaceful and the design/layout of the treehouse is practical and comfortable. Falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle and waking up to the open air sunrise really brought our experience to the next level. The treehouse has all necessities and is a short drive to Montezuma. We would certainly go back!
Joseph and Cassie were great guests! I wouldn't hesitate to host them again!
