Brigid is one of the sweetest people I have met. I was picked up at the airport no problems and anything I could possibly need was not a problem for her. This is only my second AIRBNB experience and if there are more people like Brigid out there it will not be my last. Thanks again mate and keep working on your Aussie accent
Ah, thanks mate! It was a pleasure having you! So glad you were not a cheeky bugger (my new favorite phrase).
I stayed at Brigid's house for two month and a half, and I could not be happier. She is a very welcoming host and a wonderful person to be around. Her place was exactly as it was advertised: beautiful, and in a very a safe neighborhood. I would definitely recommend her place to anyone who wants to have a memorable stay at Kansas City.
It was great to have you and getting to know you. I appreciated your openness and sharing your views - it left a lasting and positive impact on me and my perspective of the middle east and Iran.
In a way, I can see that a peaceful world is possible.
I truly enjoyed my stay at Brigid's pleasant home in a beautiful part of Kansas City near a pleasant lake, with easy access to the airport and downtown. She is friendly and personable, even invited me out to a comedy show. I'd recommend her place highly!
First time for me traveling to Kansas, MO, and I stayed with Brigid. Her location was perfect! Very convenient to the airport, dining, and shopping. Her home is in a great neighborhood! The room was as described, with flannel sheets on the bed, and she offered coffee/tea to me in the mornings.
Unfortunately, my visit was cut short by a day due to bad weather, and Brigid was very flexible and understanding to allow me to cancel the additional night without hesitation or penalty. If you are traveling to Kansas, and need a place to stay I do recommend staying with Brigid. This was my second Airbnb experience and I have no complaints.
Great place just to chill and rest. Brigid was quite caring and thoughtful. Only wish I didn't have to work such long hours. Would have been nice to spend a bit more time enjoying the ambiance.
Brigid was kind enough to allow me to book with relatively short notice and her communication with me prior to my arrival was excellent. I enjoyed our brief conversations and I found her place to be very comfortable and tidy. She does some very interesting artwork, the likes of which I've never seen before. She was a great host.
I had a really great time staying at Brigid's. I was in town for just two nights on my way to Lawrence for a conference and Brigid was really helpful, and a great host. She picked me up from the airport even though I arrived rather late in the evening and provided me with a comfortable and greatly needed bed. The next morning she asked me to join her for yoga class and showed me around Kansas City and her neighbourhood. Brigid has a very uncomplicated way of dealing with others and did her best to make my short stay very pleasureable and helped my in every way. She even made sure that I got my bus to Lawrence alright and dropped my at the bus station. I would definitely stay with her once more, if I should ever be in Kansas City again.
Appreciate the friendly Kansas City experience, hope to visit with you again sometime -thanks!
Second stay was as good as the first. If I am ever in Kansas City again, I know where my home away from home will be.
A great host in a beautiful neighborhood, and she helped me out a great deal by picking me up at the airport so I could rent a car away from there and save the airport surcharges. I started my Missouri trip at Brigid's place and will return to her as my Kansas City host and home at end of the trip. I look forward to my second stay. One caveat only for potential guests: if it takes you awhile to get your bearings in a new city, get a map in advance (call Kansas City auto club), or better yet, bring a GPS.
