WOW, is about the easiest way to describe this beautiful sunfilled place that makes you feel at home as soon as you enter the front door.
Communication prior to my arrival was A1 and had no difficulties in making arrangements in picking up the keys to my home away from home for the 3 nights i stayed in the cosy Marina District of San Fran.
The welcome note was a great help and came in handy several times.. Everything was covered from the location of rubbish bins to the WIFI they provided.
Doing as the locals do, their favourite Cafes and eateriers were recommended, Chestnut street and Lombard are only a 2 min walk away. In a location everyone would find appealing in someway with plenty of food/cafe eateries, fashion outlets, pubs/bars, public transport, outdoor activities right on the doorstep - literally.
The rooftop view is deffinately a highlight and will make you decide this place over anyother! Fabulous view twds Golden Gate Bridge and Palace of FIne Arts..
As an airline employee, i travel on a daily basis to different cities and this experience by far, was one of the most memorable...
I look forward to a return trip oneday soon and experiencing it all over again.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions reagarding Scott & Chelsea's property.
Scott and Chelsea were AMAZING hostesses! Honestly couldn't have asked for a better place. It was cute, clean and in the perfect location. They were so sweet to leave us a bottle of wine upon arrival. :) Extremely helpful with their welcoming note and we loved their tips for local restaurants etc. Such a treat of a weekend and we owe it mainly to Scott and Chelsea. Highly recommended for anyone new or familiar to the city. We hope to get back there soon!
Scott and Chelsea were fantastic hosts, accommodating us at the 11th hr all while they were away on holiday!
Their communication with us throughout was reliable and prompt. They gave lots of advise and recommendations on the area, transport, things to do, as well as cafes and restaurants to go to on Chestnut St.
Their home is cosy and spacious, filled with direct sunlight and perfectly situated in the upmarket Marina district, just one block from Chestnut St which is full of cafes, restaurants, clothing stores, movie theatre and a local supermarket with lots of tasty organic produce. Even an Apple Store! Everything you need is at your fingertips.
The Marina is a nice place to dine out, at either at a nice restaurant, the local pub, or a tasty little fish shop. It's a fun mix of young professionals and it's also family friendly.
If you feel like having a relaxing night in with a home cooked meal, you will find Scott and Chelsea's kitchen well equipped. Feel like chilling, no problem they have AppleTV and a relaxing living room.
There is also plenty to explore within walking distance beyond Chestnut. Their home is a few blocks from the water and the Palace of Fine Arts which is a must go to! And is perfectly poised out to head out on a day trip to the golden Gate Bridge. A 10-15min walk to Union St, or for a day exploring Filmore St through the Pacific Heights to the Jazz District.
It's also no problem heading into downtown as the Muni bus frequents regularly from outside their door and takes you directly into Downtown. We also found the taxi fare reasonable and reliable.
We didn't want to leave Chelsea's and Scott's lovely home nor the Marina district. In fact after staying at a few locations around the city, if we were to relocate to SF this would be our neighbourhood of choice.

The Marina is a fun place to dine out whether it be one of the amazing restaurants, a local pub or the tasty little fish shop… the people are super friendly, we even spent three hours talking to a local at a cafe in the afternoon sun. It's also no problem heading into the city with a Muni bus that frequents regularly on their cross streets. The Muni takes you directly into downtown and is approximately 20-30 min. It's literally outside their door. We also found the taxi fair reasonable and reliable - around 20 bucks to get you into the city. The best of both worlds!
We didn't want to leave Scott and Chelsea's lovely home nor the Marina district. In fact after staying in a few locations around the city, if we were to relocate to San Francisco this would be our neighborhood of choice. It had everything we needed, we loved the village feel of Marina and city shopping was just a short bus ride away.
Very sweet couple, communication was very easy with them, they treated the property as their own one.
Many thanks. Highly recommended.
Nice guests! Easy in communication and always welcome to come back.
Scott was easy to work with and a good guest.
The guest left the place clean and tidy. We would be happy to host him again anytime.
Scott and Chelsea are such a lovely couple! Perfect guests and amazing people to spend time with... The communication before and during their stay was very good, they left the place in a perfect state and although I was staying next door, they were always very independent and discreet. I would highly recommend to host them.
Nice TO meet you Scott! A pleasure to receive you in our apartments!
A great person, quik To response, glad to receive him!
Hospedé a Scott y su novia por 5 días. El departamento no lo devolvieron muy limpio, como suelen hacerlo todos los otros huéspedes, pero bien, dentro de lo regular.
Scott is a lovely person, I wish they can come again to Salta
