We are Gerry Huet and Rosheen Jones a middle aged married couple (both 55) from Wexford in Ireland. We have two sons 19 and 20 and very many pet animals. We have quite a large house in the the beautiful countryside of Wexford with a garden of about one hectare (hard work in the Summer). Rosheen works at present in the retail sector and I am semi-retired. The boys are in college.
We both enjoy friends, socializing, dining out, the internet, reading and the cinema. Rosheen enjoys gardening, pets, family and friends while Gerry loves sport (in the good old days he used to participate in rugby, cricket, tennis, swimming and motorcycle racing. Just watches on TV these days).

Most years we travel to France as Rosheen worked in Paris some years ago and Gerry's ancestors hail from Caen in Normandy, hence we have a certain liking for France. So at this point we have acquired a working knowledge of francais and french customs. I also speak a little German, dating from my days in school. To sum-up we are a civilized and cultured couple, well educated , good humored but with a little bit of the devil still within us.
On holiday as during our day to day lives, we like to explore attractive and/or historical places during the daytime. In the evenings we enjoy nice meals in the restaurants and a few drinks. If possible we like to chat and make friends with local people.

This Year we are traveling in early August to Antibes France for a friend's 50th birthday party. This is a bit inconvenient for us due to the crowds and the heat in the Riviera at that time of year. Generally we prefer to holiday the spring or September, but since we will be in Antibes we feel it would be a great opportunity to visit Italy. To our regret we have yet to visit Italy, but now that the children are grown up this is a chance to hopefully create a relationship with the charming land and people of Italy.
