Actually those checkout requests you cited are precisely so that we can charge a reduced cleaning fee AND keep the nightly rental rates affordable so that other guests can enjoy the property. As you experienced firsthand, a lot of care went into building and decorating that home and an equal amount of effort goes into maintaining it for every visit.
I would hardly qualify one email on the first day asking for pool instructions as "a lot of complaints." It's too bad that you couldn't receive the honest feedback about our experience with grace but rather felt the need to counter with unfounded criticism. Also, given that the pool system manually shuts itself off after a few hours your note doesn't hold much water.
