My husband and I love traveling, discovering new (to us) music and checking out restaurants the locals love. We decided to open our home to fellow airbnbers cuz, well, why not? We hope you like what you see and come stay with us soon.

Lovely home and terrific location!
We loved staying at Ananda & Dunstan's home - it was cozy, comfortable, and the location was ideal. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet, and easy to walk or bike or get around to central Austin. Ananda and Dunstan were great (and their dogs are very sweet), and they were really sweet with our 3-year-old; Dunstan even brought her a cupcake on Easter. We will absolutely recommend this home to anyone traveling to Austin, and hope to be back!
Responded immediately to messages. Stopped by to make sure all was in order. Made sure we knew where things were located.
Our family of 4 enjoyed 5 nights at Ananda and Dunstan's house in Hyde Park. The location was ideal for us, as it was walking distance to a grocery store and to several restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the recreation center at the nearby golf course, which provided indoor activities for the kids on several rainy days. The house is very clean and the kitchen is well-equipped. The Wi-fi worked very well, and the Roku box was a nice addition, especially for the rainy days during our stay. Ananda responded to inquiries very promptly. We would not hesitate to stay at Ananda and Dunstan's house again on future trips to Austin.
Ananda and Dustan communicated very well throughout the process. They provided the entry code to the house by text message the day we arrived, which simplified checking in. The house is in a fantastic location in Hyde Park, and is cozy and clean. They provide coffee, which is a big plus for me personally. The stay was enjoyable.
The bungalow was great. Perfect location. It had everything we needed. Ananda & Dunstan also went out of their way to accommodate our two-year-old's nap time (running the washing machine & dryer after she woke up).
My husband, mother in law and son stayed Ananda and Dunsten's bungalow in late Jan. We ran into Amanda and she was friendly Dunsten stopped in one day to make sure we had everything we needed. The place was nice a lot of light and cozy. We liked how we were in so close to the golf course (we took out toddler on walks around the course). However, the door connecting the bathroom to the back bedroom does not shut properly. Besides that Great place!
We stayed Ananda and Dunsten's bungalow on our recent visit to Austin. It is exactly as picture-very comfortable. Hyde Park is very accessible to downtown, I-35, UT, Lamar, and Mopac. Very central location. I would highly recommend it! Ananda has a list of local coffee shop, laundry facility, etc on the fridge. All within walking distance.
Dunstan was very nice and accommodating. The house was spotless and spacious. My friend and I had a great time there! The only thing I'd mention is if you're a light sleeper, it's hard to sleep because the dog barks in the morning.
Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed staying at Ananda and Dunstan's place in Hyde Park.
We love Hyde Park and this place a lovely location right by the little golf course.
We didn't get to meet Ananda on this trip, Dunstan was warm and friendly in all our interactions and it was a pleasure to meet him.
The place felt like a total home to us and the kitchen was well equipped even with a juicer. The shower is good, too and if we hadn't had all our toiletries, we would have been totally fine because of all the things in the bathroom closet to use.
We only used one of the bedrooms and slept really well there.
The place was pretty and clean and just felt really good. We would totally stay here again.
We really enjoyed our 6 nights at Ananda and Dunstan's "Hyde Park Bungalow". The house was in a great neighborhood with a small grocery store and several good restaurants nearby. The house was cozy and clean with plenty of space to spread out and a nice dining and kitchen area. Both Ananda and Dunstan were so helpful. We would definitely book here again.
Dunstan and his brother came in town for a convention. Kept great communication and the place looked when they left. I'd recommend them to any airbnb host.
I had the pleasure of hosting Dunstan and his mother and it was wonderful. Dunstan is a really friendly guy and super easy to interact with. He was always easy to communicate with and took fantastic care of the apartment. I would love to have Dunstan back at any point.
Ananda is my cousin and as such, I have known her my whole life. She is a very straight-forward person who says what she means and means what she says. Ananda is very organized and detail-oriented and I would highly recommend her to anyone on Airbnb.
This is a great house about a 10 minute walk north of UT campus. A $1 bus ride takes you downtown which makes this location ideal. Even better it is in the SUPER DESIRABLE Hyde Park Neighborhood. The house is 1/2 a block from Hancock Golf Course (great for walks and runs.. and yes golf too). About 4 blocks from a cheese shops, and several great resturants and bakeries. The house itself is on a quiet street and has great rooms. Full kitchen, double bedrooms and living rooms. This place really is a treat. The pictures on the site are accurate if underselling. Great place, would return in a heart beat. Book early :)
I stayed at this lovely home for an extended weekend in September of 2011. It is a lovely Hyde Park bungalow in central Austin. The bus line is one block away, the UT campus is about 2 miles away and around the corner there are a handful of great restaurants for vegetarians/vegans and non, a bakery, cheese shop, gelato shop, small grocery store and laundromat.
There is a public golf course at the end of the street which is great to putt on during the day or run/walk through at dusk. The neighborhood is nice and quiet with very friendly neighbors.
I have known Ananda for six years. She is an honest, respectable, trusting and very welcoming person. She is also a great Salsa instructor if you need some lessons before heading downtown to Sixth Street.
I have known Ananda for over five years. In that time we have worked, played, hosted, and volunteered together. She has outstanding social and organizational skills. She is a trusted member of any team in which she has been involved. I have complete faith in her ability as a host and to provide whatever she has promised.
