Carlo and his son Roberto are very pleasant people. The house is well kept and has nice paintings. A dog called Baudelaire and three cats are nice for children.
We stayed in their house for 17 nights and can recommend the B&B for holidays. We had our own touring bicycles with us and came by train from Germany. Activities: walking to and thru Porto Maurizio, shopping in Oneglia, biking along the coastline or in the silent valleys or to the saddles in the Ligurian Alps, swimming at the free beach (where Roberto was working at the coffee bar in the summer), eating out (especially at the Osteria Didu, where Roberto is working after summer), hiking through the valleys and mountains with olive trees, excursions by train and bus (the still existing train station Porto Maurizio is 5 minutes by bike; a main bus station 4 minutes by bike).
Staying at the house or in the nice garden with olive trees is very comfortable, but this year (2013) there is a big and very loud construction site next to the house, starting from 8 o'clock in the morning (which Carlo didn't mention before!). We recommend to ask before about the noise and ask for reduction (i.e. 15% per week). Nevertheless we stayed because of the nice surrounding, Carlos charming breakfast in the garden and having fun together (playing guitar, cooking, talking).
Mille Grazie, Carlo!
Arrivederci, Patricia, Elias and Paul
Carlo is a wonderful person and excellent host. He picked us up at the train station, since we were travelling by trains, which was a good start and saved us plenty of time. The room had double terraceand we had exceptional view, espesially in the evening. The kitchen was also at our disposal, which was quite convinient and we could enjoy our meal in the garden. The villa itself is great and well-kept. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back! Grazie, Carlo!!
Carlo was very kind to pick us for we don't drive. The house is wonderful with a big garden just like the photos and the bedroom with terrace. It is not so far from the beach as indicated on map, actually just 10 minutes walking and you can walking through the old town center which is beautiful!! Carlo also allowed us to use the kitchen which is great, since there is a supermarket just around and we had our own dinner in the garden. Thanks Carlo and see you soon.
Carlo is a very gracious host. His place is beautiful, in a wonderful location. Do make sure ahead of time, however, that you know how to reach it, as street signs are difficult to locate and sometimes don't appear at all. We loved having breakfast in the garden!
We had a rest at Carlo Braganti' house 11 days in July, 2013. It was fine rest. Carlo is an excellent owner who contains the beautiful and pure house. We liked all: the house, the room for accommodation, breakfasts, possibility of a parking of the car, etc. The house is located near the sea. We received from rest even more pleasure, than counted. The site of the house promotes travels to Monaco, Nice, Cannes, San Remo, Albengo. Grazie mille, Carlo, we will arrive to you again.
Carlo is best host in my trip. Also he's house has very beautiful veiw and garden. It make me peaceful. Carlo made breakfast, that was good. We ate breakfast in the garden, that was great!
Location is good, room and bathroom are clean and nice.
When try to find Carlo's house, little bit confuse me when i arrive main gate. So, If u will arrive there, i recommend 'call to Carlo'. Than, he will he there for you :)
I highly recommend here!
Our stay at Carlo's place was just what we were looking for. The place was spotless and very well located. Carlo provided with very good advice as far as what to do and where to eat. Imperia is beautiful little town to spend some time. Very nice beaches around and great architecture. The narrow streets and impressive palazzi make a fantastic background for some amazing pictures. 100% recommend it!
The house has a cool micro-climate as it sits atop a hill within walking distance of Imperia's beaches, some restaurants overlooking the sea, and is just a short walk to downtown. Breakfast in summer in a garden shaded by fully grown trees was a plus.
Great guests. Hope they enjoyed New York City.
Stefano and Marco were a delight to host. Great cooks :) I wish them well in their year here in NY!
