Veronica left great instructions about finding the flat (only a short walk from Oslo Central Train Station). Coming from Australia to Scandenavia was new for us but the Norwegians are very friendly people and the city is very easy to get around with English as your first language. The flat is very well located for access to city sights and skiing at Oslo Winter Park. The flat has great creature comforts, we really enjoyed our stay :)
The apartment was satisfactory for my needs, I particularly liked the lounge area where the television is.
Some people might consider the neighborhood sketchy, but I never felt unsafe or uneasy about it
Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Veronica but she was very quick at responding at any emails and questions that we had. The apartment was clean and warm when we got there, and it was pretty close to the city centre (about a 8 min tram into the city).
Veronica's apartment is exactly as described in the listing and in the pictures. There is plenty of space on the kitchen and living area which is really handy. It is well within walking distance of the city centre, we didn't need to catch any transport while we were there.
Veronica is very lovely, she met us at the station and gave us the keys and directions on how to get there and she was easily contactable during our short stay which was reassuring! The only downside was the bed is a little bit small, my partner and I are only small so t wasn't a problem for us. Overall a great experience and highly recommend!!
Host Veronica was wonderful and very helpful! Flat was in a central location and very cosy! Was perfect for me and my two friends and saved us a lot of money having the option to cook in the flat.
We felt amazingly welcome, the instructions provided were clear and accurate and the flat clean and well functioning!!definitely a great stay in Oslo!!
We were made to feel very welcome by Veronica, who took the time to send us information about the local area, as well as links to a useful map and guide to Oslo. The location of the apartment was ideal, and it lived up to its description. The apartment was cosy, warm and had everything we needed for a great stay. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Oslo, and we would definitely stay there again.
The location of the appartement is great, because it is close to the central of Oslo and you could reach e.g. the centralstation and the harbour easily.
The appartement was exactly as it was described and pictured. And it was also cleaned and had everything we needeed for a great stay.
She met us at the centralstation and gave us the keys and told us, how we reach the appartement.
The description for using the media was also very helpful.
Veronica always replied to our messages very quickly and she was able to be contacted during our stay.
It was very good and also more easily for us, that it was possible to check-in early and to check-out lately.
We enjoyed our stay in Oslo and we would recommend Veronica´s appartement to everyone.
It was a nice place close to the centre. It was very clean and our host met us at the central station which was very handy. The bed was very good!
Veronica was great with emails and keeping in touch both before we got to Oslo and once we were there. Once we arrived at the apartment it was exactly as described and pictured. The bedroom and bathroom are compact, but that is what we were expecting and they were both fully functional!
The kitchen and living space was however, much bigger than what I was expecting which was great. There was someone in the building who kept playing music and we could hear the base, but it wasn't very loud and only seemed to happen during the day but still, annoying!
I loved the area that the apartment was in, you can walk to the centre of Oslo in about 10 minutes and to the harbour in about 15. There were also loads of really great restaurants in the area, Indian and Ethiopian etc.
