Jennifer was a great host! The place was very clean, up to date, cozy & beautiful! We had a great time, only wish we could've stayed longer! Thanks Jennifer!
Jennifer was so responsive with answering any of my questions and welcomed us with muffins and walking us through the property when we arrived. I really feel the place shows much better than in the pictures because its larger inside and outside than what you perceive. There is a private pathway which separates the main property so you don't feel like you are renting a guest house, it really feels like a private cottage. The courtyard is much bigger than in the picture, it was such a pleasant surprise. The cottage itself is much more spacious and we had 4 ladies in our group. There were plenty of sheets, towels, and pillows all very clean. The bathroom was extremely clean so it didn't feel like a rental but rather a hotel. We utilized the kitchen and appreciated all the utensils and serveware, we had a breakfast in the courtyard which was lovely.
I was very pleased overall by her hospitality, it didn't feel like a rental but truly a luxury B&B or a hotel experience which I really appreciated.
Ultimately though I would say the location of this property takes the cake. Its just a 10 minute walk to the beach by the Four Seasons, there is nothing like it especially for this price.
I've already told my husband about it so hope to return soon!
Jennifer was welcoming and extremely accommodating. We changed our plans and ETA several times and yet she has obliged very gracefully. The place is situated very close to beach and coastal village. Coastal village is where you find lot of restaurants.
Jennifer made us feel welcome in her Cottage by the Sea and we had a fabulous stay. There was an informative "guidebook" of things to do in the area which we found handy. There was a small kitchen with a fridge/freezer which was great for keeping our drinks and snacks chilled. We loved our first Airbnb experience and the bar has been set high for our upcoming trips!
Jennifer was very nice and welcoming. Her place was beautiful, clean and a great location. I know where we will be staying next time we're in town!
Jennifer was very friendly and welcoming. She showed us around the cottage, and told us about the local area. There were even three delicious muffins waiting for us on the kitchen table. The cottage was perfect for our weekend trip--private, quiet, clean, and plenty of room for three girls. It was close to the beach and town in Montecito, but also just a short Uber ride to downtown SB. We had a great stay!
I stayed at this lovely cottage three days after my beloved Mother's funeral. I needed someplace peaceful and calm.
Upon arrival, I was greeted with hug.
The cottage looks like the pictures posted, and is two blocks from the beach--and there is a walking path that is lined by pretty flowers and plants. It is also two blocks from restaurants and shops. You can basically park your car and walk to everything.
Wonderful stay, my Mom would have loved this place.
I'm certain I will visit again.
We arrived too late to be able to go to the beach. But Jennifer is really hospitality. We have a very comfortable night in Jennifer's home.
Felt like I had spent 5 nights at a 5 star resort...Jennifer was a great Host and left us completely alone to enjoy ourselves in complete bliss...everything was supplied and in great working order..
This place was great! Jennifer was very nice and helpful.
The cottage was clean and cozy, exactly as advertised. The main bed was very comfortable. There was a nice little sitting area outside with a fence separating it from Jennifer's house, so it felt comfortable and private. I can't comment on the walk to the beach, because, unfortunately, we didn't have time to get there.
Next time we're in Santa Barbara we'll be sure to see if this place is available.
