Mike was a wonderful host! He was super accommodating and did everything to make sure we were comfortable. And he even played guitar for us! We hope to return sometime in the future!
Mike was a wonderful host and the cottage was adorable and perfect for what we needed. I planned this weekend getaway because my best friend was diagnosed with cancer and going in for surgery the Monday after our weekend. The cottage provided us with a wonderful time together in a beautiful environment, even with a hot tub and wood burning stove! Mike accommodated our needs for games, firewood, and anything else we requested. I was very grateful for Mike's hospitality. My only criticism would be about the kitchen. The kitchen didn't have quite as many cooking resources (pots and pans) as I would have liked and what was there had been well loved. It would have been nice to have some more options.
Thanks Mike for the grand adventure! The sun, the water, the music- what great timing for it all.
This was a fantastic place to stay in a beautiful area. We were a big group - 9 of us in total, but this cute little farmhouse was plenty big enough for everyone, and Mike even brought out some extra fold out beds that we didn't end up needing. We all agreed that the house was even nicer than it looked in the photos. Mike is a great host and a great musician, we really enjoyed the hospitality and hanging out with him around the fire outdoors. We would definitely come here again, and either stay in this little house again with a group, or in one of the rooms in the main house if it's just the two of us.
So cool to stay on a sail boat!!! La Conner is a fun town and the Armadillo is equipped with everything you might ever need. So beautiful and comfy. Mike is a great host.
Mike was nice and welcoming. He introduced himself and the boat to us and took us on a sail. We explored James Island and stayed overnight in a secluded alcove. It was an interesting, camping-like experience. For those of you that aren't up to the camping-type of experience - we would recommend you staying at the B&B and checking out the boat for a sail.
Great location! The house was fine but a bit older than expected. Great views, lots of room, and peaceful!
Mike is very hospitable and friendly. The beds were comfy and we were treated to a quiet calm nights sleep. I think it's worth noting that the shower and standard toilet are a 5 min walk from the boat. The location is a short walk from the center of town.
One of the most fun Airbnb experiences I've ever had! Mike's boat is large, comfortable, and really charming. Mike also gave us a tour of his B&B a few miles away, a gorgeous farm house. He was a truly gracious host, and I look forward to coming back.
Captain Mike was a welcoming, friendly, and enthusiastic host! He was flexible and had loads of ideas for us to consider about our adventure. The boat was cozy, quiet, and had plenty of room for ourselves and two kids (ages 8 and 12).
