We stayed here as a family of 5 during Christmas week and really enjoyed the central location of the apartment and the expansive views (including One World Trade Center in the distance) from the numerous windows. The building is a few short blocks from Times Square and from the Rockefeller Center. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It's really a great place for exploring the city.
The owner of this unit does own several units in the building. They are not all identical in furnishings. We have actually stayed in two of the units, dating back (pre-airbnb) to 2007. We were thrilled when we found this unit on Air-bnb! If you are looking for luxurious decor, this unit is not for you. But if you are looking for something comfortable and in one of the BEST locations possible, look no further. The building is located right on restaurant row- a literal plethora of excellent dining choices!-, it is a five minute walk to Times Square/ Broadway, the subway is 2 1/2 blocks, the grocery and the pharmacy about 3. We stayed in unit 3F- there was some evidence of an upper floor leak, but we had absolutely no problems with plumbing or the bathroom. The host may not be "chatty" via email, but you WILL get the information that you need in a timely manner. They have the ability to check you in over the phone, so you never have to worry about checking in or checking out at late hours. As Floridians coming up in November to New York, we were concerned about freezing to death. We expressed this to Eran and he made sure that there were three space heaters in the unit. The unit was more than toasty warm (we had to turn the heat down after the first day as it actually got a little hot). We are very grateful to Eran for helping to make our stay incredibly pleasant. We have been telling friends about "our" perfect New York apartment for years, and I am more than glad to be able to tell the Air-bnb community that we LOVE this apartment and will continue to stay there in the future.

Although similar, not exactly the apartment you see in the pictures. The bathroom is pretty run down. The building is old. There was water dripping onto the bed from the ceiling, though it was fixed the next day after contacting the host. The check out time on the reservation says flexible but we were forced to leave at 11 am. In summary, you can find a nicer place in the same price range
I stayed in this apartment with 6 friends this past weekend for 3 nights. The unit was much more spacious than it appeared in the photos, comfortably slept all 7 of us, and the location was perfect (it's right on "Restaurant Row" in Times Square / Hells Kitchen). The check-in went smoothly - even though we didn't arrive until midnight. The unit was clean, had a nice feel, and was the same unit as advertised (despite some of the other comments I saw on here). There were 7 towels laid out for us, and there were plenty of sheets and pillows for the pull-out couch. The only minor challenge we had was the fact that there was only one bathroom shared between all of us. The kitchen faucet was a bit loose / finicky, and there didn't appear to be a lot of cooking instruments, but I suspect most people who stay in this unit will be eating out (as we did), so that wasn't an issue for us. I would definitely stay in this apartment again.

This was a classic case of bait and switch-We paid for the three bedroom apartment in the picture and were placed in a two bedroom disaster under construction. When I complained we were instantly moved to the apartment in the picture, which happened to be right up the stairs. but this place in no way resembles the write up by Eran. Two of the bedrooms are really one bedroom with a connecting door. The ac worked on and off and when it rained the hall and third bedroom flooded. Door were broken in the bathroom, lights didn't work. The best thing about this apartment is Anna the cleaning lady who helped us out the most. My advise: avoid this apt and avoid this owner-both are a disaster. I'm still not sure how I feel about Airbnb.
Fantastic location just minutes from times square. Eran was very accommodating and flexible with our check-in and check-out times. Easy key-pick up. Towels for 8 were ready and fresh. We ended up having 7 people, and we all slept comfortably. One of the beds was slightly concave in the middle, but not a big deal. Overall, very convenient and a total steal for the location!
great location. just a couple blocks to Times Square, but street of location was a lot quieter.
Bathroom had some issues, tub didn't drain and had to manually flush toilet from tank.
It was as described in listing. TV and Wifi worked great. Towels and linens provided. It was what we were looking for in our stay.
This unit was at very top, so many stairs, but building was secure with code to get into building and double locks on door.
Futon as described in den and additional single fold out. Master bed was clean, but not comfortable.
Great location and safe, pretty clean place to stay.
