We spent 5 nights at Titti's on July 2013. The apartment was clean and the air conditioning was working properly. The location is perfect - not the main party area in Trastevere, so the street was quite peaceful in the night times. Bathroom is nice and spacious and the washing machine was handy. There's this adorable bakery/deli next door from where we did get our cappuccinos and cornettos many mornings. Public WiFi didn't work in the weekend at all (busy), but we did expect that and so it didn't bother us. We can warmly recommend Titti's apartment as a peaceful nest of rest on your vacation in Rome. Everything was working perfect and the hosts were friendly and responded fast to all our messages.
We booked this beautiful room the night before and our hosts were very accommodating. Especially when we were 1.5 hours late to our arrival due to train delays and no way of contacting them. But, they were patient and provided us with a very nice room in a beautiful area of Rome.
We had a very nice time at Titti’s casa. The apartment is very well located in a nice neighborhood with a lot of restaurant and shops (and a very nice bakery just around the corner). We made almost everything by foot from there (from Vatican to Spanish Piazza) but there is a very good bus from Termini station (Line H) that stops at 100m from there.
The apartment itself is very nicely decorated and it’s a pleasure to spend an evening in the couch drinking wine or watching a DVD (we bought “Roman Holiday” in town which was a very good choice as we could recognize many places we visited during our stay).
We found that the place is bigger than on the photos. It’s really big for two. The bed is very good and large. We had place in the wardrobe to put our things.
The kitchen is small but there is a real oven and gaz cooker (but no dishwasher). There were some first need products (salt, some tea…).
The public WiFi worked very well for us all week long in the bed room.
Other good thing : Our hosts were flexible on our time of departure and arrival and gave us some address of places to eat in Rome.
We had a wonderfull time!! Thank you soooo much to you Titti and your brother Andrea that welcome us the day we arrived. Everything was perfect, the flat super clean, the ubication perfect!
Nothing to complain about it was just what we needed to relax and enjoy our week in Rome....

Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience at Titti's. The Ugly - well, some things are out of everyone's control. While we were there, the hot water stopped working, the stove leaked gas (and we were told not to worry about it - eek!), and the toilet started running. We understand stuff happens, and while Titti and Ricki were very responsive and a repairman came, NOTHING was fixed, and for the next few days, we had to continually turn the water on and off, the gas was turned off as well, and we took cold showers (frigidly cold - to the point of shivering). That sucked. The Bad - A bit of false advertising on the profile. Currently, Titti's profile says the place has wi-fi and a dryer, both reasons we booked at Titti's. We searched specifically for a place with working wi-fi, and being our last stop in Europe, we also wanted both a washer and dryer. The wi-fi is public wi-fi, which would have been fine but the connection is AWFUL. Titti said it didn't work well at night, but it just didn't work well at all. I would say it was consistent about 10% of the time. We had both a PC and a Mac, and neither got great wi-fi from the connection. Big bummer. For all these reasons and more, Titti and Ricki offered us a $100 euro refund, but when we asked for more since nothing was actually fixed, they balked. Rather than getting into a big argument about it and ruining our trip, we just let it go. The Good - Titti and Ricki greeted us when we arrived and answered our questions. We loved the neighborhood in Trastevere and would definitely recommend staying there. It's full of character, and while there are a lot of tourists, it's not nearly as many as the rest of the city. There were so many fun non-touristy things to do as well in the area. Also, the place is very close to the taxi stand so it's easy to grab a cab to the airport when it's time to leave.
The apartment was great for our 10 days, very comfortable and big enough for two, great location, easy to go to everywhere. The kitchen is usable, in the living room the free space is a bit small, too much armchairs. The street is laud, as in Trastevere. We got, we expected. We offer for everybody who want to study the real Roman everyday life.
Thank you Titti.
Grazie ragazzi!!
Riccardo and his wife were exemplary guests. Kind, courteous, clean, and respectful. We discovered a wasp nest in the attic which was very unpleasant for them, but they handled it with grace and understanding, something we much appreciated. Highly recommended.
Great communication. Everything went smoothly.
Another great experience! Thanks airbnb
