Angelina responded quickly and was accommodating of our needs. She provided all the information we needed for a great stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the location was great!
Perfect place to stay. Within walking distance from everything, immaculately clean and spacious.
Place was really simple consisting of a full kitchen, dining table, chair, and bed. The WiFi did not work and the place was not exactly the cleanest but I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is on a budget.
Angelina's apartment is dope! Perfect price and perfect location.
clean, but there is nothing(just bed, frying pan, or something).
host is good.
location is good.
everything is fine.
I just stayed at Angelina's place for 2 nights and it was perfect. Close to so many restaurants and bars that I never needed a cab or even the train. Great communication, excellent location, and very nice and clean apartment. I would definitely book again!
When the history of hipster East Williamsburg is written, just like the history of 1920's Paris has been, Angelina will be front and center, both her as a person and the energy she represents. She knows, she does, she shares and just meeting her was a wonderful experience. Whatever you need she knows both in the neighborhood and about NYC in general. A true iconic AirBnB (website hidden) Don't book the DOJO if you snore, as I do, and I feel bad that I kept Angelina out most nights due to my snoring.
Response from Angelina:
haha that def wasnt the reason i stayed out but yes good rule of thumb :) thanks mniles!!
The room in Angelina's apartment was wonderful - bright turquoise walls and lovely decorations and little knick knacks on her shelves that are fun to look at as you lay in the bed. It was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The desk was nice to have too. My only reason for the 4 star is because the building... I had trouble getting in every time. I couldn't get the passcode to work, I definitely had the right number but someone said the buttons got stuck sometimes (there was no key for the front door - just a code). The key to the 2nd floor also was tricky. I had to jiggle it many times before I would finally get in. While I was staying there it was raining a lot, so both of these problems weren't too fun while I was soaking wet from the rain. People should also know that because it's a loft the rooms were built by a resident, so as far as sounds outside of Angelina's room, you can hear everything....I mean, everything! Even whispers in the room next to you. Awkward! Luckily, I slept with my headphones in - so I would recommend ear plugs or something and you'll be fine. The roommates were nice and they had opposite schedules to me so I barely saw them - I was leaving early in the morning and coming home around 10-11pm and going to bed. The shower, well, she prepared me for it - it's not TOO bad, could do with a good clean but well the price per night was right so I'm not going to complain too much about that. Overall I would say that this is a good choice for someone ok with living in an industrial area and flexible with a more artistic living situation this place is a good choice. There are lots of cool bars and restaurants in the area that would provide a more eclectic Brooklyn experience then staying somewhere like DUMBO where there are tons of tourists. I was staying here while I was on a break from a relationship and it proved to be the calming sanctuary I needed to reflect.
Angelina is Great, I got to say hello, show her around and she was very kind and clean. It was a short visit but I would definitely welcome her back! ;)
(If you'd have us)
