A busy mum of 3 children 4,3 and 1 year old! No time on my hands! But I love renovating and have loved bringing our irish home back from the brink of ruin.

Lovely little cottage in a fantastic location.
I've stayed in Kenmare more times than I care to remember, as I do some work there and a place that feels like a home from home is what I look for. This cottage is the best location for the restaurants in the town, with my favourites being The Horseshoe ( the lamb is fantastic) and The Charcoal Grill that serves fantastic steaks. But there are many many other great restaurants nearby.
Also, just down the road is my favourite bar, Crowley's.
I'm looking forward to staying there again in January :)
Lovely townhouse in a lovely town. Home has been renovated was perfectly clean and tidy and has all the comforts. Extremely well located in the center of town with easy access to pubs and shops. We drove and parking wasn't an issue at this more quiet time of year. We didn't meet Kirstin but she is very prompt to respond to any questions and made arrangements for our arrival and pick up of keys. We were met by Julia and given every assistance so many thanks to her and to Kirstin for hosting.
We really enjoyed our time in the cottage, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and enjoyed the breakfast that was provided, the cottage is cosy and has so much character we loved it, it is in a great location in Kenmare where everything is in walking distance, we loved the local pubs and friendly Irish people, a fantastic place to visit!
Kirstin's cottage was really cosy and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was bread, butter and a selection of jams in the kitchen, together with fresh coffee, cereals and muesli for breakfast which was lovely. The cottage was spotlessly clean and clearly recently renovated. The main bedroom is quite spacious and the bed was comfortable. The location of the cottage couldn't be better: right in the centre of the pretty town of Kenmare and adjacent to many restaurants and pubs. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Kenmare!
This was a terrific stay in a pleasant, cute town of Kenmare. We were greeted by Julia, who braved a nasty rainstorm to get us the key and give us a tour of the cottage. It was a very clean, warm and nicely decorated. There was even cereal, milk, toast and jam in the fridge! Kenmare is a great jumping off place for Ring of Kerry, Killarney and other highlights in the southern part of the country. There was also free, convenient parking. the town is full of cute places to eat, little shops and bars. This is a great stay for a traditional, yet comfortable, Irish experience.
Wonderful stay in Kenmare. The apartment was clean, quiet and comfortable. Right in the heart of town. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend it.
When I arrived I was met by another person which had been arranged with me as Kirstin was unable to do this. I was made to feel very welcome and shown around the property.
I felt that the description of the property was accurate . Also the description of the neighbourhood was accurate and I was indeed within 1 minute of being in the town - if even that. As a solo travellor this was a big plus.
