Thanks for looking at my profile. It's been a few years since I hung up my backpack but travelling is still in my blood. I count myself lucky for being able to find work that takes me around the world. I live permanently in London and work for a small non-profit organisation that works to protect civilians in times of war and report human rights abuses. But if you don't want to hear about it, there's I won't pester you with the details.
Instead, if I stay at your place, there's a good chance I'll ask you about the best routes to see the area by bike, where the best live music is and where to get the best local sandwich or like bread-ish street food. I travel light and like to stay in a place long enough to be able to lose my map and still get home. I always like to read fiction set in the place I'm staying, but only after I've got a sense of the place. Maybe you can recommend something?
