The ride to Mary's was beautiful and when we got there, she was really welcoming. The room is in the attic and you have a great view over bray and the Sea. She and her husband gave us excellent tips which no book could have given us (wicklow Mountains/glendalough). Breakfast was included and by god was it yummy! It doesnt get better than selfmade scones and bread. And we loved the (email hidden) cute :-) we will defenetly come back!
Mary was a gracious host- cooking us anything we wanted for breakfast. The room was clean and very comfortable. The beds were fabulous! Definitely a rural setting! Guests may not find it if arriving after dark. The view of the Irish Sea and the mountains was nice too.
I had very nice rooms (sleeping room with spacious desk and bathroom) with an excellent elevated view on a very nice scenery (fields, mountains and the ocean) in a very nice house.
The people are very friendly and helpful. Even though internet was not mentioned in the description I was given access (at least in the living room). Everything is very new in the house or kept in very good shape. I had home-made bread with home-made jams for breakfast and upon demand was prepared oat meal/porridge customized with a selection of seeds and honey.
We had a wonderful time with Mary and Padraic, they were welcoming and friendly and we had some great yarns over a cup of tea! Their home is large and quiet in a lovely rural setting, they were full of suggestions about local places to visit and knew lots about the area, we'd highly recommend them!
The place was very nice and the house located in the beautiful countryside. We arrived a bit late, but Mary was kind enough to wait and welcome us. We only stayed one night, but it was a good night`s sleep :) Thank you Mary
We stayed with Mary for two nights. She made us very welcome and helped us to plan our days with valuable suggestions where to go and what to see. The house is in a nice country setting within easy reach of Bray, Powerscourt House and Gardens (thanks for the shortcut!) and the wider Wicklow Mountains area.
Our room was very clean and the home-made jam for breakfast was very tasty.
Thank you Mary!
Mary and Padraig made me feel very welcome. Their home is set in beautiful countryside location with stunning views of the sugar-loaf and co wicklow. The room was lovely everything spotless and cosy with en-suite
Breakfast with home-made bread and jams and also porridge which was delcious. I also enjoyed the chat and seeing their lovely garden and vegetable plot. They are both great hosts and I hope to see them again soon
Wonderful! Mary stayed up late to greet me and had a wonderful breakfast for me in the morning. My room was great and it was a beautiful part of the countryside to spend a night in.
It was wonderful staying at Mary's house. She was very welcoming and helpful. I was served a hearty delicious breakfast before I left in the morning. Great experience. Thank you Mary.
Delicous!
Vielen Dank Mary!
Mary and her husband have been great hosts. The rooms was tidy and spacious. Bray is a good start for your Irelandtrip. There are lovelylandscapes, places and restaurants ( Mary will tell you) and its located close to Dublin.
The breakfast was great, scrambled eggs from her own chickens, freshly baked Sodabread and Scones.... Delicous.
Thank you very much Mary!
