The apartment was very spacious and in a fantastic location! Nice and close to cafes, grocery stores and the subway was only a few mins walk away. We stayed for 6 days and it was perfect for us. The only suggestion I would make is to take ear plugs as it can get noisy at night, but otherwise, it was fantastic and Sean was a great host.
Sean's apartment in the Lower East Side was absolutely perfect for our fortnight stay in NYC. The apartment is clean and very spacious, with a lovely bathroom and cooking facilities. There is also wifi which is really useful for looking up recommendations. There is also aircon which is a blessing in New York Summer time!
Sean is an excellent host and always responded quickly to any queries we had.
The area itself is one of my favourite in Manhattan, packed full of bars and restaurants to explore, as well as deli's for groceries and laundrettes if needed.
The transport links are really good whether you need to go uptown or over the bridge to Brooklyn, you have lots of options.
Overall, highly recommended!
Sean is a lovely guy. Really nice apartment and great location.
Wonderful apartment (email hidden) of town. Really feel I got the full New York feeling from this stay. Sean was very easy to deal with and was flexible by helping us cope with or luggage at the end of the stay. Definitely recommend!
We had a great time in Sean's apartment! Everything was very clean and it's a perfect place to explore a lot of restaurants and bars close by. Also the subway was just a few steps away and you can easily get around to see the city. Many thanks to Sean for this stay!
This is a great part of town to stay - lots of good nearby bars and restaurants, the apartment was fine - exactly as represented, very clean etc.
would certainly stay there again without hesitation.
The property is exactly as per the pics. There is loads going on in the neighbourhood and a lovely couple of places for coffee and breakfast just on the corner.
I hadn't realised how important a/c would be in New York as when the sun shone it got very warm in the apartment.
I also didn't realise that this was a smokers apartment which wasn't ideal for me - however this was my error as this is in fact clearly stated in the listing.
Other that a bit of a delay in getting a response from the host a couple of days before the reservation which caused a little unneccessary stress, Sean was present when we arrived and the handover was in fact seamless in the end.
The apartment worked great for an extended weekend stay. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and was in easy walking distance of many nearby sights.
Loved Sean's loft! Right in the heart of the lower east side. Glad we decided to stay there instead of a hotel. I had my 14 year old daughter with me and we were able to explore all the surrounding neighborhoods. This was my first experience being a guest on Airbnb so I wasn't sure what to expect. Some favorite spots to grab food and sweets were Dudleys, schnippers near Times Square, sugar sweet sunshine bakery....
Oh! Sean was an incredible guest. Very professional, we hope he returns and we really enjoyed having him here.
