A fine finish to the year's tours. Always a pleasure!
This was the final tour of the year, and like all our other visits, it was a lovely adventure, made all the better by Konnie's gracious hospitality. See my earlier reviews for specific remarks about her place.
This was the second stay on this leg of another wonderful tour. Thanks, Konnie!
It's been a while since I stayed at Konnie's lovely home in Brownsville, and she's made some improvements to the guest room: better electrical outlets for all the gadgets we all seem to travel with, nicer furniture and bedding, and I like the bed's new orientation along the south wall, providing a solid surface to lean against, and a nice view out the windows. And she's added a very nice electric heater that keeps the room at just the right temperature.
I took advantage of her business-class bandwidth to download some files that would have taken forever at home. That was a real life saver!
And I got to enjoy some of her talents in the kitchen. As I've mentioned in earlier reviews, Konnie knows her way around the spices.
It's winter now, and my dog (we're down to just one, sadly) and I had the park pretty much to ourselves. It's still the nicest dog park I know of.
I'm really grateful to have found a good friend in Konnie and to have the luxury of her strategically-located home for these musical adventures that seem to have become such an important part of my life.
What a fun and comfortable visit to Brownsville in Oregon! Konnie is so nice and welcoming. Konnie's house is a turn-of-the-century art specimen in itself, full of her own artwork, collections and numerous interesting doodads. I enjoyed chatting with Konnie about everything from her artwork to launching a startup to the curiosity of cats.
Konnie's place is delightful. Beautiful cosy house & fab garden. We loved sitting on the deck watching the birds while enjoying our morning coffee. Brownsville itself is a lovely little town & everyone was so friendly. There are a few good restaurants, useful stores & a great park. We were cycling in Oregon & enjoyed the scenic bikeways. The countryside around Brownsville is just amazing.
My husband and I stayed in Brownsville for one night while attending a local music festival. Konnies place was the perfect location for our needs. The room is quiet and comfortable. Her surrounding property and deck are very artsy and unique. We enjoyed a drink on the patio while looking at her collections. In the morning, our hostess had a selection of coffees and teas available and a light breakfast. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again anytime we find ourselves in the little town! Thanks again for your hospitality! It was a great stay..
You two are welcome anytime!
Konnie made us feel very welcome indeed. As it happened, however, she was traveling the weekend we stayed at her place. So she graciously let us stay by ourselves. She checked in with us by text before and during, to make sure we had no difficulty finding her house and getting in, etc. The house is in a lovely setting on a hillside amid pine trees. It was very nice after a long (and very hot) day in Eugene to come back to Brownsville and relax on her gigantic deck , listen to music and watch the hummingbirds.
Thanks Toby, I'm glad you were able to enjoy the deck. It sure makes the hot summers bearable, and those insane hummingbirds are delightful. Happy travels!
Konnie had a great place for me to stay, even on short notice. Her house and her two cats are totally cute characters. The other guests who happened to be staying on the same night were very friendly and welcoming. I slept well and enjoyed my stay.
You are welcome back anytime! So nice to meet you at the Fair as well.
Still our favorite place to stay. We're looking forward to more fun this summer.
Connie and Alex were great! Although they were only here for two quick days, it felt very comfortable to be around them which is always nice since we do have a shared backyard. they were very friendly, and easy-going, and everything went smoothly from start to finish
Konnie and Sthepen were very nice and friendly people expect their stadia in Hotel Tunich has been really enjoyable.
Sin inconveniente alguno, muy buen huesped!
Konnie was a great guest! She was respectful to the property, easy to communicate with, and left the Cottage spotless. Thanks again for staying!
Konnie soo ROCKS. You were soo lovely Miss. Thanks for all the good vibes. Hope you are well. All the best to you always. Stay wild at heart.
It was great sharing my apartment with Konnie and her friend for 4 nights. Even though I had family visiting and was busy with work and other obligations, communication with Konnie was very easy and whole process went smoothly. Konnie is very energetic and was out most of the day exploring the city, but she made sure to keep the apartment clean and was a very respectful guest at all times. She even left me a small plant as a gift when she departed. If you have the opportunity to host Konnie I would definitely recommend her.
Konnie is a very nice person. I left her my apartment for the weekend as I was away. She respected very much my flat. We know we will meet again!
