We are a couple for quite a long time. I am German, my partner is Samoan and we both live with our two boys in a nice suburban house in Auckland/New Zealand. We enjoy good food and company. A bit adventurous at times, always up for new things.

Jan's studio was very convenient for us at the end of our long holidays in NZ. The new queensized bed was very comfortable and the studio had a good size. Jan is a very good and helpful host. The road nearby only has little traffic but you do hear it.
Thanks a lot!
Sonny was very warm and welcoming. The place was in great shape and fitted out. It's a cosy little studio that is very homey! Thanks guys!
This was our second stay with Jan. Shorter this time (1 day rather than 4) but equally delightful. Clean, convenient and all we needed (we left for the airport from Jan's). It was great to see Jan and his family again after 2 weeks touring New Zealand!
Jan's place provided us with a wonderful place to get our first bearings in New Zealand. It's small but offers all two visitors need including comfortable beds, lots of hot water and privacy. It is definitely in the suburbs but we like going into the city for the day and having the chance to commute like most actual local residents - bus service is very regular. But the best part of Jan's place is Jan himself and his welcoming family. They were very kind and made us feel at home.
Great little studio, very clean. Jan is available if you have any question but you have complete freedom to come and go as the entrance is separate.
There is a bus within 5 min walk that takes you downtown without having to change. On weekend it runs every hour and you arrive in 30min. During the week they are more frequent but with traffic it takes up to 1h. So although further from the CBD it was still practical.
Overall a very good stay!
My partner and I recently received tickets to a concert at the Western Springs Stadium in Auckland the same weekend as the 9's and the lantern festival so accommodation was very scarce in the vicinity we needed. We booked one of the few left in West Auckland - "Tidy Studio in the West".
Wasn't sure what to expect as we had never stayed at a BnB before, but we were overwhelmingly pleased when Jan (The host) offered transport for a small charge to and from the Airport..ALSO to the concert, as he knew how expensive the taxis would be and how busy the city was - which literally saved us so much time, money and stress.
The Studio was tidy, cute and comfy with everything we needed for the night, also separate from the house for privacy, we sat and had coffee on sunny balcony in the morning. Jan was welcoming, extremely helpful and friendly, we really appreciated it and will definately be back! Thanks Jan and family :)
they are friendly guest...
