I run a little Guesthouse in La Spezia, very close to the beautiful Cinque Terre! It's located in a typically Ligurian house called TERRATETTO.
My favourite things are:
meet new people
good food and wine ;)

Paola helpful , reliable, kind hosts . Friendly , nice location on a beautiful street. Very comfortable bed and delicious breakfast .
We are happy to go again.
An excellent, high quality guest house with Wi-Fi right in the area pedonale/ foot-traffic-only Via del Prione downtown La Spezia! I stayed here for one month in a sunny, airy, meticulously clean suite upstairs. You're a 12-15 minute walk from the train station and right in the middle of the vibrant historic center of town with all the shops, bars, restaurants and markets at your finger tips. The breakfast option provided at a local bar steps away from the guest house is lovely, and serves excellent coffee and breakfast pastries in a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. If you are looking to be right in the heart of La Spezia's foot traffic area with the city, downtown marina, surrounding cinque terre, Apuane Alps, and Tuscany all at your finger tips, then I strongly recommend Paola's Terra Tetto. An avid traveler and hostess, Paola is incredibly knowledgeable of the area and all that it offers. Her high standards of service and guesthouse cleanliness will not disappoint. And, if you're as lucky as I was, you'll make a wonderful new friend in La Spezia too. A guesthouse not to be missed!
Great place, this is not a home, this is a hotel room with a nice bed and great price.. Location is fantastic, we even caused an accident in the room but host was still very friendly, i would recommend this place to anyone who is interested in discovering Italian Linguria
We really enjoyed this airy and super clean apartment. Paola is very warm and friendly and made some fantastic suggestions that we are so happy we followed. The apartment is in a really lovely part if this gorgeous town and is a great base for day trips around the region. The shower was particularly good (strong jets and temperature control) after a big day of walking, however the wifi was a bit weak or unavailable in certain parts of the apartment. This was a very minor concern as we were there for travel and relaxation and not for surfing the Internet :)
The stay at Paola was ok, everything was nice and in place. The flat is a little smaller than in the pictures, but it is ok overall.
The flat is well located (center of La Spezia - walking distance from the train station, harbour and all the key places).
We had a problem with the WIFI starting the 3rd day and we weren't able to find a way to solve it, but there might have been a problem with my laptop and phones I guess.
Paola was helpful and nice.
Perfectly located on the main street of la Spezia and 10 min from the Station if you want to discover the amazing Cinq Terres.
Paula is great if you have any problem or request
We really enjoyed staying in this room during our holiday in La Spezia. Paola was very helpful and provided us with the information we needed about day trips, restaurants and parking lots.
Great room in a very handy location to Cinque Terre. Paola is very helpful and friendly.
Great location & fantastic Host. Recommend to all visiting La Spezia
Staying at Paola's place in La Spezia was my first experience staying in Italy. The location is super! A very easy 8 minute walk to the train station and Paola will generously come and greet you to make sure you make it to her place easily. There is no vehicle traffic by where you stay, only foot traffic and lots off it. It's located in a fairly busy main center of town with tons of shops and cafes and an incredible farmers and antique market, a few minutes walk to the waters edge and most importantly it is a great spot to stage if you plan on visiting Cinque Terra. The accommodations are simple and straightforward - a clean room and bathroom with super hot water and a mini fridge. I found the bed a bit firm but that seems to be common in Europe. The wifi sort of worked - if I left my door open and the office door was open then it worked, otherwise it didn't which was somewhat inconvenient. Paula was very helpful in answering questions and helping me with train reservations, offering suggestions for restaurants, and that sort of thing. Overall a great value for the price, highly recommend!
Paola and her mother were very pleasant to have. They were clean, easy-going and great to have a laugh with. I can't wait to see them in Cinque Terre. Grazie Paola!
Paola is a very kind and professional hostess. After tourism qualification, she has been working in the hotel business for nine years, from a Best Western in Trieste now running this charming guesthouse in La Spezia. She's reliable!
