I was greeted by a man named Anton. He has a heart of gold and I consider myself lucky to meet him!
Had a really good time at Marijana's accommodation! The owner of the accom is Anton, who is a really amazing guy, who made me feel very welcomed immediately! Spent a lot of time with Anton, his son Antonio, and a staff, Nina, at a hostel just round the corner.
Great location within the old town. Do be prepared for a lot of stair climbing, but you get that everywhere within old town anyway!
The room I had was clean and very comfortable!
This was a basic room but nevertheless good value. Location is decent, right in the old town, but be aware there are many steps to reach this apartment (may be an issue if you have mobility issues - actually this applies to many parts of Dubrovnik).
The host and his son were both very friendly and helpful, with good advice and local knowledge. I had a great time.
Good value, clean accommodation within the city walls but not on top of the main hustle and bustle. Our host, Anton, was friendly, charming and made us feel very welcome. We loved our time in Dubrovnik - even all the steps.
Our room was somewhat small but clean and well located. The receptionist Anton was very attentive. I hope come back in the future.
This place was ideally located. It was near both Buza bars as well as restaurants. The place is very simple but the owner (I didn't catch his name) is very caring and sweet. My only complaint is that we checked in early and no one really showed us the ropes or gave any guidance. But over all it's worth the stay for people on a budget.
Great location and very clean
The location was great, wifi was good, and the hosts were friendly and helpful!
Very well located place in the old town of Dubrovnik. The room was beautiful, quiet and very clean. For the tall people like, just be aware for the low ceiling. Marijana was a great host, she arrange our bus ticket to split and replied very fast when I had a question about Dubrovnik. I recommend this place for 100%
Marijana is welcoming and cheerful as the rest of the staff, she left me a couple of towels as I was travelling with a hand bag and didn't have enough room for towels, also gave me the chance to leave the bag after check-out.
The single room is ok and clean, sports a fan and a mosquito ultrasound machine that seems to do its work, the cool table lamp turn on just touching the base so handy as you don't have to look for the switch in the night. Shared bathroom has a shower with a curtain, the basin soap dispenser had more water than soap. I never understood if the ground floor is a common space but it's so cluttered that I thought it's private.
Overall, the environment is pretty basic and looked a bit abandoned to my eyes and what a pity as the place is strategically located off the south wall, few fixes and inexpensive improvements would make it more appealing.
We really enjoyed having you in our basic 200 years old UNESCO Croatian household!
Thank you for your suggestions. We will take them into consideration.
