Hi, and welcome to our lovely home in Jerusalem!
We's be happy to meet and host people from around the world, so feel free to ask any questions you might have about the place.
The reservation was canceled 29 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
This was our 4th visit to Jerusalem but the first where we stayed in an apartment instead of a hotel. Our daughter moved to Jerusalem a year and a half ago and we were looking for an apartment that was near where she lived. We found this apartment which was a five minute walk from her. It is a great location, very centrally located with an easy walk to many attractions, restaurants, and the old city. There is also a bus stop close by. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, and clean. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed having more space than a hotel room. Once we got the hang of the water heater and the heating/cooling system everything worked well. While we ate at our daughter's for Shabbat, the apartment had everything you would need for Shabbat, candles, urn, plata, etc. We rented a car and having free parking across the street was wonderful, as finding parking in Jerusalem can be very challenging and expensive. Going through the Prime Minister's security took a few minutes but definitely easier than looking for parking. We enjoyed meeting our host Halel and she was very responsive to our requests. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Jerusalem.

Spanish - El departamento de Halel está muy bien ubicado y equipado. Halel es una anfitriona correcta y amable.. El barrio es seguro y tranquilo.Tiene supermercado, bares y lavandería a poca distancia. El departamento es recomendable.
We had a great time in Jerusalem and this flat was very central and easy to find. Be careful to follow the security instructions - you're staying next door to the Prime Minister!
We haven't met Halel at all, despite that we hoped so. Nevermind, but from our credit card was withdrawn an amount for deposit (which was stipulated on our conditions in advance), but when we isnisted that the host (Halel) will be present when we leave the apartment, and the story began. We started a long correspondence one day before our check in. Our point of view was that if we leave a deposit, we have to be sure that all eventual damages will be detected our presence. Halel repeatedly refused, which was quite strange, Despite that we did no damage (we were sure in advance that we'll won't) we left the apartment with the feeling that it was possible to manipulate this quite esssential issue. How pitty!
Wonderfull week-end in Jérusalem, with the help and advice of Halel.
The apartment is perfectly located to discover the city.
Delicious food at "Café de Paris" just nearby, and even "Karma" not so far and open on Shabbat very helpfull
I can safely say that if you're going to be stuck in Jerusalem during the worst snow storm in 150 years, that there's no better place to do it than at Halel's! And I'm sure it's great the rest of the time as well.
A very nice apartment in a nice neighborhood. Very easy to park after a brief chat with the Prime Minister's security guys. And truly centrally located - a short walk to the Old City, as well as to the more touristy parts of modern Jerusalem.
The apartment is really at the best location to whom wants to stay close to th Old City, Mamila, and many diff attractions.
The place is very quiet, and secure being only some steps from the prime minister house,
The apartment has being renovated, besides some minor details it's everything pretty new.
You should know that most of the buildings in Jerusalem are old and you should not expect to find fancy places as in most of the neighborhoods everything is very simple and authentic.
This being said, I would definitely recommend Halel's place.
Overall, we can recommend this apartment for those wanting a secure and very central location in Jerusalem! This is truly steps away from the Prime Minister's residence, so you need access from your host to get past the security guards, although walking in and out of the street to the main artery of Keren Hayesod is not a problem, and in 1 minute you are on your way to the Old City (10 minute walk) or nearby King George shops, restaurants, etc. The location could not be more central!! The apartment itself was functional, clean, pleasant, quiet; the bed was comfortable, and the mirpesset/outdoor space allows 4 or 5 people to gather for coffee or dinner al fresco. The only things we had difficulty with were the TV and the hot water heater ... the latter is the usual challenge with Israeli apartments, however, as they use the rooftop water tanks and you have to turn the heating element on in advance to insure hot water in the non-summer months. Halel was very responsive to our requests or inquiries and very pleasant. She lives in the adjacent apartment so she was readily accessible for questions and for resolving issues. If you rent a car, there is relatively ample street/sidewalk parking since not everyone has access to this private street. Overall we recommend this quiet, secure, centrally-located apartment for your stay in Jerusalem!
