I have 27 very positive, glowing reviews (between Airbnb and (website hidden)/(website hidden))..and then I have this one. So please read this one and then the other 27 to get a full understanding of who I am as an established host and a human being;)
I'm very disheartened that Anna found the stay disappointing. The happiness and well being of my guests is of the utmost importance. A few of Anna's complaints were actually legitimate and will be addressed (my dog Tango started to shed in the spring..I'm pet dander guilty) however the rest of her review was uncalled for and a bit of a shock really. I would have gladly bent over backward to refund all her money and then some had I known she was at all unhappy with the situation. However I never heard from her about any issues.
The place was professionally cleaned and ready (down to every detail) hours before her check in time. It is OVER equipped as I've owned it 5 years and stocked it full of kitchen and bath essentials.
She arrived before check in time (in spite of several friendly reminders to please not arrive early). I couldn't greet her as I would have preferred because of this. She characterized this as 'a disorganized host' which I felt was a bit much as she was the one who didn't respect the check in time and arrived when she saw fit.
I go out of my way (again, please read all other reviews) to give my an uber clean, awesome experience. I'm sorry that Anna's visit was not a good one. I'm a very frequent Airbnb guest and host and I understand this is about creating a positive experience.
I do sincerely feel that her review is unfairly critical and shows as an inexperienced Airbnb guest acting like grumpy consumer..thankfully I've been in this business for 3 years and I have a significant cache of positive reviews to help set the record straight. I look forward to the opportunity of burying this review with numerous fantastically positive reviews from future guests!
